WEEK 4: COOPERATION

WHAT I LEARNED? ACTION PLAN FOR THE WEEK:

Cooperation is hardly earned now a
days. To achieve cooperation two
things must first exist: (1) acceptance
and (2) communion in labor. Being a
member of a certain group doesn’t
guarantee cooperation. Involved
people should fluidly connect in
many levels and be able to
communicate acceptance from every
individual. From this each member
starts to realize the weaknesses and
strengths of each other. Being able to
consider that an individual’s
weakness is a part of his unique
character. Now when these unique
individuals come together to a
common task monopolizing on their
strengths to help complete it, then
you have cooperation. If it takes two
to tango well it takes both of them
not to step on each other
To be honest I just want to be of assistance when ever or
not it is needed. I thought that initiating offers cooperation
a point earned rather it hinders acceptance so as plan I will
then again start small, and it starts with me. A big ounce of
cooperation lies on doing your own task. It is good to work
on your own task first before over boarding to someone
else’s job.
REFLECTION:
I think I really hate the idea of “neophyte’s initiation” or
ion tagalog “oh dahil bago ka ikaw na…” it is true that as
early as possible new members of a company/ institution
must learn the culture and nature of work but putting them
on an ice bath doesn’t help them at all. Immersion or
internship is I think the way. I guess it just hurt me when
we were asked to host a program, but it didn’t pull through.
Though I really looked forward to it they should have not
asked us to do it on a pilot program, put us in much
pressure and replace us the last minute. I really wanted to
put in much help but it end up to a huge insecurity.
