1. Mrs. Chung experienced convulsion due to high blood pressure. She was diagnosed with
eclampsia, which resulted to early delivery of the baby. The active management of the third
stage of labor is to treat it with magnesium sulphate, which is universally practiced in all
hospitals and also appropriate antibiotic prophylaxis for cesarean section.
