Joy is the one blocking all the other emotions. Because she embodying Riley's optimism
to block her complicated emotions. And she wanted Riley to have only joyful feelings
and memories. She does that so by acting as a leader of Riley's mind.

Yes. I sometimes find myself blocking feelings. Whenever my mind shouts for giving up, I
also shouts for trying hard and giving a certain thing a lot of tries. I often find myself
assuring myself also that there are many reasons why I shouldn't give up. But
sometimes when I really need to express my emotions, I don't block or suppress it . I just
let myself express what I wanted to feel. When I really need a rest or when I need to cry,
I took a nap or I entertains myself somehow. Because I know, it is important too to
express my emotions, I am a human that needed a break . It is just that I should
express myself and my emotions healthily so I don't have to do or to snap something
regretful.
