ABSTRACT
S.Y: 2019-2020
Waste haulers today are looking for technologies that will enhance, but not overwhelm
their operations, particularly when it comes to safety, maintenance and attracting and retaining a
younger work force. (Commendatore, 2018). It is essential to choose designs and technologies
that are appropriate to the conditions where the machines will be working. Waste collection
vehicles designed for one particular set of conditions might be unsuited for another situation.
This study is conducted generally to design, of the equipment must be paid a lot of
attention. Containers, tools and handcarts should be designed and maintained so that they are
efficient in use but do not require excessive amounts of effort to lift or push. They should also be
free of sharp edges. Particular attention should be paid to ensure that containers are lifted and
The design of Hand-Winch Dumping Trolley from the width, height and length of the
equipment like the container, frame etc. is portable enough for doing operation. It is very

comfortable and faster to operate in collecting and dumping the garbage. It can be easily to use
The researchers will employ the descriptive method of research with the use of survey
and evaluation of Hand-Winch Dumping Trolley to determine the acceptability of the product in
terms of: design, functionality, ease of use, and safety. The results will be coming mainly from
the respondents. This method is the most commonly used form of research when it comes to
survey as it reveals and measures the strengths of opinion given by a target group.
Using the Hand-Winch Dumping Trolley it turned out the average time of discharging
with load of garbage 11.50 sec and going back to its charging position it takes 2.90 sec with the
The average result of the respondents in terms of design (WM=3.63) highly acceptable;
function (WM=3.66) highly acceptable; ease of use (WM=3.61) highly acceptable and safety
(WM=3.75) with the total weighted mean of 3.66 with the qualitative description of highly
