My experience during online learning. As a student of POLTEKKES PALEMBANG
NURSING PROGRAM IN LUBUKLINGGAU, I am very concerned about this condition.
This online lecture has been running for quite a while, I feel that this actually makes me feel
bored with this system, the material given online is sometimes difficult to understand because
this online method makes students less familiar with the material, the number of assignments
given by the lecturer and the presence of longing to meet friends and want to experience face-
to-face lectures. Although the course is delivered with the help of technology, sometimes
there are technical problems that interfere, such as signal interference, an unfavorable home
situation or other disturbances which make it difficult to digest the lesson. Not only that,
there are still many other problems, especially internet quotas. Online lectures take advantage
of several applications that, according to him, require a lot of quota, such as WhatsApp,
Google Classroom, Google meet, which are used by students and Zoom. Even one meeting
on Zoom can spend 1-2 GB more for one course.
But don't be discouraged, it's precisely in situations like this that we must continue to
enjoy it and make new experiences in life. At least I'm grateful that in the midst of an
epidemic like this, I'm still given the opportunity to keep learning even though I'm online.
Since the online college I feel that my independence is increasingly being trained, how
should I be responsible with time. Then now I'm getting closer to my family, because every
day I'm always with them and this also trains my communication with my mom, dad, and my
brother and sister.Online lectures are very flexible in terms of time. More efficient and
effective because I don't need to go to campus, just open my laptop at home. I can even save
money because I don't have to pay for transportation and other expenses that are usually
needed to get to and from campus.
The COVID-19 pandemic is still very worrying to this day. Avoid crowds, keep an
eye on 3M Washing hands, Wearing Masks, and Keeping Distance. Hopefully we can soon
return to our normal times where we can easily meet or face to face with the people around
us.
Thankyou…
