1. INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing DURULSAN MAKİNA DM Electronic Filling Scale. Instructions
of the manufacturer should be complied in order to allow maximum performance. Please read
the user manual carefully before mounting of the DM Electronic Filling Scale. Cautions and
Safety measures should be taken to provide safely usage of DM Electronic Filling Scale.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT

DM Electronic Filling Scale; provides filling of LPG to cylinders and during the filling,
cylinders are weighed suitably to specific standards by means of transmitted of compressed
LPG with the pump. Before filling, Filling LPG number of cylinders is set and in accordance
with set values LPG is filled. Filling process is completed when total weight of LPG and
cylinder tare with the same of settings, by way of plugging gas flow with the cut-off valve.

2.A USAGE AREA:

DM Electronic Filling Scale should be used in LPG Cylinder Filling Plants, LPG Cylinder
Filling Stations, Transportable LPG Filling Platforms (as skid system and container) and also it
is not suitable for end-user directly. Our product is suitably designed flammable and explosive
platforms that registered with certified documents. Required safety precautions have to be
taken and safe area should be provided in accordance with standards.

2.B PRODUCT FAMILY GROUP AND PRODUCT CODING DESCRIPTION:

DM Electronic Filling Scale; Product Family Group splits in half in mainly, First Group; Filling up Camping cylinder and Home Type
cylinder are named as DM-EFSxx-045/060, Second Group; Filling up Industrial cylinder is named as DM-EFSxx-045/120. Apart from
previous product families, there are different types depending on criteria as Cylinder type, Valve type of cylinder and Filling Head. These
types and product coding system are in the below. DURULSAN MAKİNA has a claim that increase/change regarding to consumer and
region out of specified types as in the below.

5.A PRODUCT LABEL, SITES ON SECURITY AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS OF THE


PRODUCT

1- “ELECTRIC ENERGY” WARNING SIGN: Sign is glued on the Electric Energy Panel and also
gives warning Continuous Electric Energy on panel. (230V connected to panel)
2- TEST APPROVAL LABEL: Shows us that machine passed all tests and date of tests.
3- WARNING SIGN: Cover must not be opened by the users.
4- WARRANTY LABEL: If warranty label of DURULSAN is teared, machine will be out of
warranty. Warranty Label is attached to cover junction point. In case cover is demounted, label
will be teared and also it would not be possible to glue again.

Our product is designed and certified to use in ZONE1 VE ZONE 2.

7. MOUNTING

7.A DETAILS BEFORE MOUNTING

First of all, using area of scale must be prepared gas line, aerial line and electric line.
Inflow pressure of LPG line should be between 10~15 Bar and not be more or less than this
range. İdeal filling pressure is 12-13 bar.
Air Line Pressure needs to have 5-8 Bar. Ideal Air Pressure is 6 Bar.
Energy Line needs to require 230V AC (50Hz) feeding energy.
Floor for mounting should be levelled and smooth.
Scale should be used indoor area in order not to be exposed rain, cold air, snow and
sunshine effects.
Ambient Temperature should be -10°C / +40°C but it is seen in laboratory that scale tested
heat resisting as -10°C/+60°C.

7.B FLOOR MOUNTING

Scale absolutely is delivered to you in the left picture as packaged product.


DURULSAN is not responsible for deficiencies, damaged packages and
shortages of detached scales. Before Scale is unpacked from package, it
should be checked package visually.
Please, Unpack the scale without damage.

As in the right picture, “Water Level” is absolutely on


platforms all of delivered scales. When Scale is mounted
to floor, to chassis or carousel, there should be benefit
from Water Level. Besides, scale should be checked and ensured with
another Water Level.
Scale may be levelled with Unscrewing Stud Bolts and Hex Nuts in Scale
Foots. After scale is levelled, Nuts of Stud Bolts must be screwed so as to
fix scale.

7.C CONNECTION OF GAS LINE

“Pneumatic Cut-Off Valve” can be absolutely seen insıde of rear cover or


above the platform. If this valve is not found in these areas, it is lost or stolen
high probability during transportation. In these type of situations, you should
get in contact with and give information DURULSAN. If this problem is sourced
by us, Cut-off valve is sent to your party as cost free. But if this problem is
sourced during/after transportation, new Cut-Off Valve needs to be purchased.

3 pieces of connection point are on the Cut-Off Valve. One of those air
connection, the other ones are gas feeding connection and connection of gas
hose. Please care about gas line was closed before gas connection is made.

½” NPT Connection Point of Gas Line

Firstly, Gas Hose must be fixed to Cut-Off


Valve by way of hands as in the left picture.
After that, Cut-Off valve must be screwed to
gland with 19 Wrench and also nut of scale
hose nozzle must be screwed and fixed with
22 Wrench. Please use Industrial Adhesive or
Teflon.

7.D CONNECTION OF AIR LINE

There are disengaged two pieces of pneumatic hoses as red and blue behind of scale. Blue
one of these hoses is connected to “Pneumatic Cut-Off Valve” as in the pictures.

Red hose is connected to main air feeding line. We recommend that hose
should be connected to 1/4x 6 mm Pneumatic Gland tailed on ¼” PN16
Threaded Ball Valve.

Please care about air line was closed before air connection is made.

7.E CONNECTION OF ELECTRIC LINE

Electric Energy Panel is located inside of the Rear Cover of Scale and connect the
pre-existing electric cable to scale as follows. Please note that follow and take ATEX directive
and regulations into consideration when Electric cable sets up.

Panel Cover needs to be demounted in order to connects


electric cable. We can see in the picture, there is 6 pieces Allen
Bolts on the panel. These bolts can be demounted with the 4
Wrench.

After Cover is demounted, Panel is seen as


in the picture. Energy cable needs to be
passed through of the cable gland as shown
with finger in the left picture. As in the below
picture, Cable-Hose passing channel is
located under the scale for cabling as in the
left.

Providing that energy cable is passed


through macaron and is penetrated into
panel. Cable needs to be passed through
cable channel. Please do not forget that Ex-
proof should be screwed when the process
is completed and end of the process,
macaron must be heated definitely.

3 pieces of terminals is in Energy Cable. Each of these


cables is enough 1 ~ 1,5MM for scale. Besides,
measurement size should not be higher than given
measure (1 ~ 1,5MM for scale) so as to be entered
electric terminal. These cables are generally three
different colours. If these colours are the same, these are
used as earthing, fuse and neutralization. Energy should
be connected specified points as in the below.

Please, apply the pressure and force to orange-


coloured parts with the way of electric terminal
screwdriver blade. Electric terminal will screw
cable. Close up the cover of the panel and
ensure screwing the bolts in the end of the
electric connection process. Please sure that
exproof cable gland is screwed well and panel
is closed correctly due to the fact that there is
made main energy connection.

Open the air, gas and electrical lines after all


connections is made. Scale will be ready-to-use.

8. USAGE OF SCALE

8.A DETAILS BEFORE USAGE

Please control the gas and air pressure and also If picture is on display of scale, connection is not
made without any faults.
Scale type will be delivered in keeping with capacity and valve of cylinder which one is suitable for you
to fill. Therefore, it is crucial issue that operator should be informed and trained by authorized preson about
which filling head is suitably connected to cylinder types.

8.B PLACING OF THE CYLINDER AND INSTALLATION OF FILLING HEAD TO VALVE

There are two options for the placing of cylinders to platform of DM Electronic Filling Scale. First one
is these options that cylinder is placed by hand-power of an operator and second one is automatic cylinder
entry mechanism. For second type, Conveyor band has to be installed and also cylinder types must be only
monotype to fill.
DM Electronic Filling Scale has two types of filling options. First one is these options that valve of the
cylinder is putting on/installation by hand-power of an operator. For second type, filling head of scale is
placed automatically valve of cylinder.
Or;
Even though, cylinder is automatically put on platform, filling head is put on/placed to valve of cylinder
by an operator.

8.C FUNCTIONS OF DISPLAY VE BUTTONS

PISTON DOWN : “Piston Down” button is used and provide to place manually head of Piston
Filling Scales to valve of cylinder, by this means, centring test is made in controlled way.
PISTON UP : As a continuation of the above function, this button provides that take valve
out of filling head.
MENU : This button is used to reach Menu functions.
UP : This button is used for moving upward and provide us skipping between lines
as right/left in Menu Functions.
DOWN : This button is used for moving downward in Menu Functions.
C : “C” button is used for deleting written wrong number, returning of previous
menu, returning to home screen If system gives the error during the filling and also scale is reset
when “C” button is pressed at some length.
0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 : Number buttons
ON/OFF : Turn off the screen If this button is pressed at some length but energy of scale
is not cut and this provides us only shutting down functions of display.
F1/F6, F2/F7, F3/F8, F4/F9, F5/F10 : These are the F function buttons. These buttons may be
thought as shortcut buttons. Filling may be selectively done with single-button with set values
(tare, net gas etc.)
ENTER : It is used as approval button and also filling start button, If each parameter
needs to be saved, it is provided by “ENTER” button.
STOP BUTTON : This button is using for stop the filling when filling is started or during the
filling and filling head is not put on the valve of the cylinder correctly. After the filling head is
placed to the valve properly, filling may be proceeded in again. In order to stop the filling, it can
be thought as emergency button and also this button is not cut the energy of the scale.

8.D FUNCTIONS OF MENU

It is the opening screen. After energy is given, scale will be


opened with this screen. Version data is the most
important on this screen as information. When you would
like to get technical support, you need to give version data
(as in the left picture (v2.19)

When scale is opened, display will be seen as in the right picture. This display is named as main
screen, Information contents are in this screen:
Clock data is situated in the top of the display,
Gross: 000,0 kg (Opening screen must be zero) When cylinder is put on the platform, gross
weight is written and shown as in the right
picture (014.1kg)
Tube Tare: Tube tare may be followed, when
you enter the tube tare. Tube tare is entered as
14,0 kg.
F3: 14.0+12.0: F3 function is chosen from F
functions and also F3 function shows that is set
as 14.0 kg tare + 12.0 kg net for filling.
M: “M” is signed that scale is used Manuel as in
the right.
A: If it was signed with “A”, It could be used
automatically.
100 = CAN Address Number is given each scale and these CAN Addresses have to be different.
This scale has entered 100 as CAN Address.

During filling, data is shown on the display as in the below,


Tare: Shows that cylinder tare is approved for filling and this value is 14.1 kg for this display.
Gas: Between parentheses numbers are set net amount of gas as (12.0). During filling, it is
continuously increasing values in the left,
this values can be followed-up
instantaneously in this screen and also gas
is filled as 02.4 kg now and filling will be
completed up to this value is (12.0 kg)
Total: The target is gross value as kg. Scale
will complete the filling when values is Tare
14.1 kg + Gas 12.0 kg= 26.1 kg. Shown
value in the below as (016.5) with increased
point size is followed-up total gross
instantaneously. Final state of the Tare and filling of gas into cylinder will continue increasingly
until total state is counterbalanced.

If there is computer connection, this screen shot


shows us data is sent or not sent to computer
after all fillings. When you see the “SENDING
… OK”, this shows that computerized with a
untroubled way.

You have to enter the password when you press the


“Menu” button. Scale consists of two menus and first one
of these menu is the “ADMIN MENU” is used by the
operator to fill. The other one is that “SERVICE MENU” is
used by the facility manager.
For ADMIN MENU: Password is 5678 and press ENTER,
For SERVICE MENU: Password is 8427 and press F1/F6.

ADMIN MENU
You will confront menu options as in the right, when you
enter the ADMIN MENU. This menu just allows-to-use
these options. These options are respectively explained
in the below about how it is used or each one of all is
supposed to do.

FILL VALVES
Fill Values Menu; F01, F02, F03, … ,F10 is set
functions. F function is chosen with direction
buttons up arrow-down and press ENTER.

F function is set in the display as an example. F01


function is set 2 kg net gas to fill + 2 kg tare.

CALIBRATION
You can just see the options of this menu and also
there is no allow to access permission. It is under
protection in order not to take alteration. (These
functions will be active only the way of entered
SERVIS MENU and details is given in this service
menu.

LANGUAGE
There are three language options as Turkish,
English and Norwegian that can be possible to
add different language in accordance with
customer demand. English Language is delivered
actively. After language was chosen, Press the
ENTER and follow-up the PARAMETER SAVED
sign. After this sign, language will be chosen.

OPERATING MODE
You can just see the options of this menu and also there is
no allow to access permission. It is under protection in
order not to take alteration. (These functions will be active
only the way of entered SERVIS MENU and details is
given in this service menu.

CAN ADDRESS
If each of all scales are intercommunicated in
network and connected to computer, Address
code is given so as to connect with computer.
Even this address code is designed and
made work easy, there is possibility to give
the code in accordance with your own

FILL HEAD TYPE


Filling Head on the Scale is chosen which one is suitable
for cylinder in this menu. Scale specify the state during the
filling depending on filling head. These states are
Open/Close Time of Cut-off Valve etc.

FILLING CORRECTION

This menu is designed to overcome the confronted problem


about weighing for especially multi-type and industrial type
cylinder fillings. Even though gas is cut by the Pneumatic
Cut-Off Gas Valve, gas inside of the hose will fill the to the
cylinder. This is set with this adjustment. For example: 150
gr. is set ,that is to say, When there will be 150 gr gas inside
of the hose, gas will be cut by Pneumatic Cut-Off Gas Valve in order to be weigh accurately
through gas weight will be correct with gas inside of the hose in total.

AUTO ZERO
After the filling process is completed, scale is automatically
reset itself. This process will be realized before another
cylinder is placed. Auto Zero Menu usage is optional. Reset
may be done automatically or manuelly.

You can just see the options of this menu and also there is

CALIBRATION (The most important Function)

Firstly, SERVICE MENU has to be absolutely entered as


seen in the picture in order to enter this menu. Options
are the same in the right picture. Explanation of these
functions are respectively as in the below:
WB. TARE When there is not any weight on Scale
Platform (in short: Empty), it is used to calibrate with zero
operation. Scale needs to be calibrated once a week as
frequency. There is no need extra operation.

LOAD CELL This is the most important option of the Calibration Menu. A weight must be put on
the scale Calibration Weight as (Certified) to calibrate. This weight also must be preferred; 40 kg
for the DM-EFSxx-045/060 models, 90 kg for the DM-EFSxx-045/120 models are enough.
Points to take into consideration during calibration of the scale:
1. Be sure that any weight is not on the cylinder platform,
2. Weight is known slowly must be put on the platform, (Weight is Put 20 kg)
3. Weight Unit is put, Enter the numbers as in the below, (20 kg is entered)

4.Save with pressing ENTER the weight value entered,


5. Follow and sure about the Parameters Saved sign,
6. Weights must not put on the Platform of Scale,
7. Please Pull-Push C button to Return the Main Screen,
8.Please check the amount of weight was set,

9.When you return the main screen, it is shown on the calibration screen that weight
value is the 20 kg because the weight is put on the platform 20 kg. If this value was
different, calibration would be incorrect. (You will enter the own calibration weight
as the numbers (20, 30, 40… etc.)
10. Please unload the all Calibration Weight is put on respectively (If weight is not
one-piece). After with unloading of each weight value, Please compare and check the
value on the screen must be the same with remaining value on the platform. (Weight
must be same remaining numbers as the display screen and on platform.)
11. Please care about the GROSS weight must be 0,00, After all operations is
completed when there is no weight on the platform.

CAPACITY Scale Capacity is selected with this option. This option has already been selected
because of this reason it is recommended not to change it. Menu function is shortly told as DM-
EFSxx-045/060 series for 60kg capacity, DM-EFSxx-045/120 series for 120kg capacity and
parameters must be saved.

CALIB. HISTORY This menu is designed to see; Is scale


calibrated?, When the last time scale has been calibrated?,
What was the calibration weight? It is suggested to calibrate
every two months with selecting LOADCELL.

PASSWORDS
As mentioned above, Menu usage is set for
OPERATOR ve ADMIN menu. These options are
designed to prevent voluntarily/involuntarily fault filling
of operator for Daily Filling. For this reason, This
password may be changed by the Authorized user who
enters the SERVICE MENU and using the ADMIN
password. Choose the requested password option and
press the ENTER and also enter the password, press the ENTER again. This operation is
completed when you see the Parameters Saved Sign.

OPERATING MODE
These options of this menu were set before scale is
delivered to customer due to this reason It is
recommended that the settings must not be changed.
This mode uses to set the constant and manual scale,
automatic and tare approved on the carousel, operator-
controlled or automatic.

FILL MODE
In this option, If Tare-Approved part is set, tare must be
entered after that needs to be fill in this way. This uses
generally in constant system and semi-auto systems. Auto
option is set when carousel is used full-automatically.

FILL CONTROL
In this menu, there are YES and NO options. When YES option is set; It will be seen during the
filling, If scale do not weigh or filling error sign is shown on
the display. That is to say, Loadcell causes sign on the
display with giving signal, If it does not detect
approximately 2-3 seconds during the filling. It provides us
to see the error during the filling. With setting this mode
(YES), Errors are confronted during the filling can be
enable to seen. The reason for the given NO option, While
YES option is selected, Calibrating is detected as error by the Loadcell. (For the Calibration) NO
is selected to deactivate, press ENTER and save the parameters for this operation. After the
operation is completed, YES is selected again and save the parameters.

WASTE GAS
“YES” is set in Waste Gas option; Waste gas is added on
the calculation of filling. Certainly, In order to fill correctly
under normal circumstances, be sure that YES option of the
Waste Gas is entered as ENTER and Parameters Saved
sign is seen. The reason for the given NO option; Waste
Gas is not taken into consideration in the some places,
there is in dealers are desired to sell with gas amount directly. This menu is developed in order to
cover these demands. Taking care of waste gas is the most important thing so as not to fill much
gas.

ENTRY MODE
When TUBE TARE option is set; Filling is calculated with
tare approval. This Option is needed to be use and correct
selection. But, Tare is not taken into consideration in the
some places, there is in dealers are desired to sell with
gas amount directly. GAS VOLUME is set in these types of
situations.

8.E FILLING OF CYLINDERS (With Example)

Please start to fill after be sure that scale was suitably mounted in regard to mounting
specifications and was calibrated with the well-known weight as (Certified) and showed
correct result to us.

❖ Please, Fill Scale Values set to the F functions. There


needs to be used which is set approximate value for
the different cylinder sizes. (Page_16 FILL VALVES)
For example: F3 function is set as

There is 35, 2 kg - 34, 6 kg = 0, 6kg gas inside of cylinder. Tare is entered only pressing
6 button by using keypad that is entered 34,6 kg

Because of this reason scale will fill the gas as much as amount of waste gas and total
will be the same as desired.
Instead of 44, 0 kg, Gas will be filled 44, 0 kg – 0, 6 kg = 43, 4 kg, scale calculates this
automatically and shows it in the meter.

9. IDENTIFICATION OF ERRORS

ERROR 01: If weight on the platform downcomes during


the filling, Error:01 is seen and filling stops on the ground
that weight is not detected by the Loadcell due to falling
cylinders the other hazardous possibilities. Be sure that the
cylinder platform is empty in order to close this warning and
return the home screen with holding down the “C” button.

ERROR 02: This warning is encountered when gas is cut-off


during the filling. Unless Loadcell detects the weight more than
3 seconds, it will determine that there is not gas inside of
cylinder so scale gives the error. Be sure that the cylinder
platform is empty in order to close this warning and return the
home screen with holding down the “C” button.

ERROR 03: There will be Error:03, If interconnected


systems have a faulty about network. In these type
situations, network connections have to be checked and
scale must be on off .

ERROR 04: When filling is started, filling may be required


to cancel because of any reasons and “C” button needs to
be holded down and ERROR:04 will be seen. Be sure that
the cylinder platform is empty in order to close this warning
and return the home screen with holding down the “C”
button.

10- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

10.1 Question: Energy and Air Line is connected but Scale do not work. What do we need
to do?
Answer: Be sure that the energy connected correctly. Cross and wrong connection
damages the Power Supply Unit. This situation evaluates as user errors, therefore, it is not
covered by the guarantee and check Air Line must be minimum 5 Bar.
NOT: Each scale is absolutely tested and Test Report is prepared belongs to each scale.
Please note that there is no possibility of faulty about delivering of filling scale.

10.2 Question: I put cylinder on the platform but I cannot insert the filling head. What can
we do?
Answer: Firstly, You need to verify that filling head type of scale is compatible with valve
type. If it is true, follow the instructions again as Page_24 and Page_25.

10.3 Question: If there is intermingle or nested letters on the screen, What can we do?
Answer: There is possibility about shaken and affected scale during the transportation.
Scale must be turned on/off in these type situations, If scale give the same error, please contact
and give information to the DURULSAN. We can help you with carrying out the instructions under
our control and If you need, we may connect with remote control.

10.4 Question: Scale is weighing wrongly. What can we do?


Answer: Beforementioned each scale is absolutely calibrated and tested. There is low
probability that have a trouble about calibration of scale even though you confront these type of
trouble, you can calibrate with carrying out the instructions of calibration in Page_20 and
Page_21.

10.5 Question: Filling head did not close-fit to valve, What do we need to do?
Answer: If Filling head did not close-fit to the valve, you must not interfere during the filling.
You can stop the filling with STOP button as shown in Page_14 and weighing is not affected in
this way. After you corrected the filling head, filling may resume on with pressing the same
button.

10.6 Question: There is continuously Voltage Fluctuation. Is Scale damaged?


Answer: Voltage Fluctuation damage to the scale as in the same all other electronic
devices. Voltage must be minimum 100V and maximum 240V. In increased situations, Power
supply will burn due to the overload. If you sure that there are lots of Voltage Fluctuations in your
region, you need to buy a Regulator with filling scale for protecting power absolutely. Please
contact with the DURULSAN concerning this issue.

10.7 Question: If Scale has a trouble, what do we need to do?


Answer: Scale will be out of warranty when “Warranty Label” is damaged. For this reason,
In fault condition you must get in contact with DURULSAN. If you treat inside DURULSAN’s
knowledge, your product will be evaluated scope of Warranty. DURULSAN put support behind
mechanic and electronical malfunctions and support with remote access micro USB connection
for software bugs to debug.

10.8 Question: Electricity is cut, What do we need to do?


Answer: When electricity is cut, scale save the last values to the memory. When electricity
is on again, you see the sign on the display. This sign will ask for resuming filling or cancelling
filling. You can choose resuming or cancelling selection from here.

11. IMPORTANT WARNINGS FOR SUITABLE USAGE

➢ Be sure that the product is ready for operation in accordance with scale mounting
specifications.
➢ Be sure that values are entered correctly after F functions was set.
➢ Ensure that Filling Head Type is chosen from Menu.
➢ Enter Tare Value Correctly.
➢ Check display of scale and ensure about weighing value 000,0 (zero) Before you put
cylinder on the platform of scale. If it is not zero, you zeroized it with holding down 3
seconds “C”.
➢ Ensure that there must not be any touch as weight without cylinder on the platform.
Users sometimes bear down with their hands or set foot on platform unknowingly and
also rubber material is spread to the floor that may touch the platform because of these
reasons weighing is affected negatively. Please care about these types of situations.
➢ Please do not get in touch during the filling with filling head or cylinder. If you ensure
that that the filling head did not close-fit to the cylinder-valve, stop the filling with pushing
the stop button, correct the filling head and push the same button. Filling will resume on.
➢ Take written tare on cylinder into consideration because there may be waste gas inside
of the cylinder, If you fill/overload the cylinder, It can be dangerous and you may lose
from your profit.

12. SAFETY WARNINGS

1. Aır circulation must be in working area.


2. Make sure the ground wire is properly installed.
3. Push the emergency stop button in case of emergency.
4. Cut off the electricity in case of emergency.
5. Maintenance should be made by experts.

13. WORKING CONDITIONS

• Emergency button must insule if necessary,


• If problem occurs during the operation push the emergency stop button,

14. MAINTENANCE

14.1 DAILY MAINTENANCE: Scale must be cleaned with pumping the air or dry cloth.
14.2 WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: Scale must be checked air, gas and electricity connection points
visually.
14.2 MONTHLY MAINTENANCE: Must be checked the performance of Cut-off valve and Sealing
gasket of filling head. Complete Body needs to be cleaned with wet cloth. Accumulated dirt under
the platform also should be cleaned.
14.3 YEARLY MAINTENANCE: Scale need to be calibrated yearly as suggestion. Also, It is
recommend that filling head and gasket and o-ring of Cut-Off valve must be changed. General
cleaning and maintenance must be carried out.

15. WEIGHING PLATFORM

DM-EFSxx-045/060ve DM-EFSxx-045/120 On all models weighing platform has


maximum nominal dimension of 500 x 425 mm and has the load receptor directly supported by a
single point load cell.

16. INTERFACE

Producer: DURULSAN MAKİNA LPG ÇELİK KONST. SAN. Ve TİC. İTH. İHR. LTD. ŞTİ.
Display is equipped with a serial interface to provide a connection. Interface transfers the filling
data to any computer or screen which is place in filling area or distant point. These data can be
line up and output by the connected computer or printer as daily, weekly and monthly reports.

17. SOFTWARE

The software has been designed (manufacturing) by Durulsan. Software security and
protect provided by Durulsan. Software, has done electronic cards which is connected to
computer with USB cable and a PIC microprocessor programmer. For this programming it is
need to transfer the data from computer to electronic card. During this process, ask for the
password. Software protected by CHECKSUM (CRC) method. In this method, software
protection codes given when the screen is opening.If the software parameters are inconsistency,
CHECKSUM (CRCcodes will not hold to each other. This mean is that change was made in
software parameters. In this situation software lock itself and does not fulfil any function.

This password is a password which known and protected by the Durulsan authorized
person. Authorized person change this password monthly and keep record. By the way software
is preserved.It is not able to transfer software to any computer. If you manage to do this, the
system will not allow you to see the system software codes. The protect of the software has
done.
The current software version is V_1.63. When the device is first open, this version
number has shown on the screen. Changed versions, purpose of changing, most recent version
are recorded by Durulsan.

Cable connection is must to change the software. Display control panel should remove
to make a cable connection. On panel connection points ‘safety seal’ placed in , so from these
labels it is understand labels removed or not. Durulsan evoluate it’s device responsibility
according to this point. Function of any key your interfaces see the user manual.

18. PERIPHERAL DEVICES

The following peripheral devices may be connected to the interfaces provided:

• Peripheral devices that have been issued with a test certificate by a Notified Body
responsible for type approval under Directive 2009/23/EC; or
• Peripheral devices without a test certificate under the following conditions:
a.it bears the CE marking for conformity to the EMC Directive;
b.it is not capable of transmitting any data or instruction into the weighing
instrument, other than to release a printout, checking for correct data
transmission or validation;
c.it prints weighing results and other data as received from the weighing instrument
without any modification or further processing;
d.it complies with the applicable requirements of EN45501, i.e. 4.2, 4.4, 4.6 and
4.7.

A printing device may print additional information such as date or number to identify
the printed weighing result(s) or sets of weighing results.

19. WARRANTY

DURULSAN MAKINA, Warrants against evident defects in material and workmanship for
a period of two years from the date of original purchase for use. This warranty does not cover
electrical or mechanical damage resulting from misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care,
damage due to force majeure or natural forces, or inadequate repairs performed by unauthorized
service centers.

This warranty is valid for the original purchaser as the final user only.

20. SAFETY SEAL

20.1 Fraudulent Use

The device is designed to not allow any form of fraudulent use. Calibration is not permitted for the
user. The calibration is made with certified calibration weight masses. Settings saved in the
device memory. Users have no any chance to intervene in any way.
The user can only specify the value of tolerance up to 200 grams. This value can be between 0
to 200 gr. Legally, the error rate is appropriate at filling stations. This value can save by entrance
the menu. Conducting of this operation can be find in user manual.

20.2 Accidental breakdown and maladjustment


Accidental or failure criteria which can affect to device operation are determined. Possible forms
of accident or malfunction and interposition figures are described in ‘9 EXPLANATION OF
ERROR’ part.

20.3 Controls
Preventive cares have been taken to national legislation to be able to access the device and
control measures .

** Despite the opening of the panels is protected by security label and safety seal. If this label is
damaged or teared anyway the device is not under responsibility of Durulsan. The user aim to be
understand by this way. Durulsan to intervene if the device be replaced if damaged safety sticker
pastes and long on a sticker with the revision, the revision of the label approved by the staff. If
the device’s security label damage or tear by Durulsan to interfere the device, Durulsan
employee will stick new revision label to the device and approve it.
