Patient-Care Technician at Tucson Medical Center, part of Tucson Urban League program. My responsibilities as a
part of the program consisted of assisting the PCT in daily tasks: such as bathing, feeding, collecting vitals
throughout the shift, helping the patients as-well as family members, etc. This work allowed me to practice essential
bedside skills fundamental to nursing.

CLINICAL ROTATIONS
Developed and implemented nursing care plans for patients and coordinated with the multidisciplinary team to

● Wound Care ⧫ Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital (144hrs) 07/2021-10/2021


○ Precepted by a Registered nurse in the wound clinic.
○ Assessed skin breakdowns and identified the best treatment options to encourage healing and
minimize patient risk to complications due to impaired skin integrity.
○ Provided compassionate care for 6-7 patients with wound injuries under supervision of RN
○ Provided wound dressings to create a barrier against bacteria and determine appropriate treatment
to enhance wound healing.
○ Developed skills: Wound V.A.C dressing change, protecting skin, and applying compression
stockings and bandages securely and appropriately.

○ Administered blood & intravenous infusions, cared for several patients and refined bedside
