Research assistant for study to understand how chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) affects a person’s
balance, with the ultimate goal of developing balance training programs to reduce patient fall risks.
Served as an integral key author in producing the methods and scripts to be utilized in running the clinical trials.
Became proficient in using Qualisys Motion Capture System and measuring inspiratory and expiratory breathing
cycles with BIOPAC Systems, Inc. technology to be able to answer a clinical question to improve the quality of
life of individuals with COPD.
