    To download a YouTube video, open the video you want to save on YouTube.com and pause it. Then add "ss" to the URL of the video to launch the default YouTube downloader. For example, changing "https://www.youtube.com" to "https://www.ssyoutube.com". If that doesn't work, try removing the "s" from "https" in the URL and using an alternative downloading site.

    While you are on YouTube.com open the video you want to save and pause it.
    Now just add "ss" to the video URL in order to start the default YouTube
    downloader. For instance:
    Original URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
    time_continue=3&v=46UhAtPyXw4
    URL for downloading: https://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?
    time_continue=3&v=46UhAtPyXw4

    If you get a frowny face webpage stating that “This site can’t be reached” then in
    the address bar you need to delete the s in https://....... from the url.
