Recipe 1: BREAKFAST
Cerelac Infant Cereal Wheat Banana & Milk

INGREDIENTS
50g Cerelac Infant Cereal Wheat Banana & Milk (250g)
150mL Drinking water
PROCEDURE
1. Wash hands well and make sure all utensils are thoroughly clean.
2. Boil clean drinking water (150 mL) for 5 minutes and let it cool.
3. Add 50g or 9 levelled tablespoons of Cerelac.
4. Stir until the cereal is smooth and feed your baby immediately using a clean spoon.
RECIPE 2: LUNCH
Chicken Soup

INGREDIENTS
1/4 kg chicken pieces with bone
1 small bay leaves
1 medium sized cinnamon
2 cloves
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp grated ginger
4 small cloves finely chopped garlic
1 medium size finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp pepper corns
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1.5 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt - as required
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp pepper powder - optional
A pinch turmeric powder
2 cups water
PROCEDURE
1. Keep all ingredients ready. Clean chicken pieces and chop into small pieces. Finely
chop ginger, coriander leaves, onions & garlic. Grind half amount of onions, coriander
leaves, cumin seeds and pepper corns to a fine paste.
2. In a pressure cooker, heat a tsp of ghee/oil and add cinnamon, cloves & cumin seeds.
Let cumin seeds crackle.
3. Then add remaining onions, chopped ginger & garlic. Fry them nicely until golden
brown. Now add ground coriander paste and sauté until raw smell leaves.
4. Then add turmeric powder, pepper powder (if using) and required salt. Mix everything
well and then add chopped chicken pieces and sauté it nicely for 5 minutes.
5. Pressure cook the chicken with 2 cups of water for 3-4 whistles in medium flame or
until the chicken is cooked well. Once the pressure is released open the cooker. Strain
the chicken soup with a strainer to get a clear soup, if desired.
RECIPE 3: DINNER
Rice Porridge

INGREDIENTS
2 Tbsp Parboiled rice
1.5 cup Water
PROCEDURE
1. Take 2 tbsp. of rice and wash it well. Drain out the water completely and dry it for an
hour under the sun or shade.
2. Dry roast the dried rice in a pan until it turns light and fluffy. Grind the rice in a mixer
to form a coarse powder.
3. Take 2 teaspoons of the coarse rice powder and one cup of water in a pan.
4. Cook it on low flame for about 5 minutes.
5. Mix it well, ensure that there are no lumps formed and the porridge gets a saucy
consistency.
6. Switch off the flame and let it cool down. Pour it into a bowl before serving to your
baby.
