young people at the forefront of development by being accountable advocated to the sustainable development goals.

About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

This project is trying to address the importance of young people towards being the most useful people in the world since they hold a bigger
percentage of the worlds population.Young people are therefore the backbone of the world by making sure they do actions which will help shape
future of the world.It therefore hold various activities through workshop training for peer to peer learning,hold campaigns,flash mob etc as a way
of passing message.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

The solution towards this is therefore the world leaders in specific countries,the organizations and the local leaders giving young people the
support they need towards the achievement of the theme.Various activities in tarining form,workshops,conferences and youth summits are
therefore supposed to be given a concern for the youth as a way of making them pass through a series of informal education.A lot of youth
have indulged into crime activities and political incitements hence making them go the wrong directions by doing the wrong behaviorism in their
communities.The solution is therefore giving them a gradual support through the youth based initiatives as a way of making them realize their
potentials and capabilities towards development

In the month of August we did lots of activities in the International youth day week.1,National Launch of Youth,National debate on youth civic
engagement,Online campaign on civic education.The expected outcome of this was to make State and Non-state actors commit to support youth
initiatives gearing towards the positive impact of youth participating in youth civic engagement activities.We also aiming at promoting the needs of
young people, and implement policies to help them overcome the challenges they face,encourage young people into the decision-making
process.We also had Career Fairs,Entrepreneurship clinics,Showcasing youth initiatives,all these equipped them with skills they should contribute
in the building and designing their future

Youth have been engaged youthful positive opportunities for youth civic engagement and participation by joining youth based organizations through
our link.We have ensured the show of potential in youth as partners in today’s global society has been recognized.Through the activities,we have
enabled environment advocacy by keeping it clean and also made the youth accountable for responsible waste management.We have also through
some cultural and peace events been able to show case talent that young people have within them.Awareness has been created on positive
impact of youth participation in youth civic engagement.We are therefore planning to come with a youth network resource center where we can
strategically fix ourselves to make ourselves accessible to community and also cut costs in hiring venues for training's and workshop sessions.We
also plan to involve some youth partners in UK

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

Most of us have come up with business ideas,renewable energy innovations,disability contests in their communities as a way of addressing and
fighting poverty among the youth in the community.Some of us from different universities who have done energy related courses,have pitched up
inventive ideas to a higher level as a way of solving power loss problems in the communities.Some through the initiative have got selected to be
project coordinators of the Entrepreneurship programs as a way of gaining skills in that field and therefore to share with the team upon their
return,education projects too

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

In the resource center that we are planning to come up with,we therefore have a plan of forming a youth cyber cafe and connect the whole center
with internet.This will therefore be a community resource center where they will be able to access internet,buy accessories,get all computer
services and at the same time offer computer training to young people around the areas at affordable rates.We are also planning to have a clean
water project to sell

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these
approaches?

We have a lot of countries over 150 in the world doing the same projects by involving the young people in their specific countries.We have
therefore created a link with all these people responsible for their country level through the social media.We post and tweet every activity,sessions
and workshops that we have a way of discussing and sharing ideas based on the challenges that we experience to come up with solutions and
improve on our strengths.Their is no much difference we all compete on making our voices heard at the heart of the world through competitive
activities.We all work together

Founding Story

Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope,
and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls
of oppression and resistance.It was a rough road to travel through and within the journey got a lot puncture holes.I thought of coming up with an
initiative in life that would put the young people in my community useful rather than being used by politicians to win their votes by politically inciting
them and also engaging into crime acts.I mobilized the youths and started by writing proposals

Team

My team is currently comprised of 6 strong board members who are come from 6 different counties as a way of youth mobilization in the specific
communities.We also have at least one person in over 25 different youth groups to represent us.We also have 7 universities in Nairobi with a tleast
3 members each that help reach the youth in their institutions.Since it is a growing movement then we grow with time.
