Year 6 to Year 13

Dedicated to teaching and learning for 50 years

 A small number of our Swans School extracurricular activities are featured with imagery
in this booklet. However a full list of all Swans Secondary School activities can be seen in
the following pages. All activities take place within “bubbles” and safety protocols will be
adhered to throughout.
To register for any activity please complete the form provided at the back of this booklet.

con imágenes. En las páginas siguientes se puede ver una lista completa de todas las
actividades del colegio Swans de Secundaria.
Todas las actividades se llevan a cabo dentro de sus “burbujas” y se seguirán los protocolos
de seguridad en todo momento. Para registrarse en cualquier actividad, complete el
formulario que se proporciona al final de este folleto.
 TECH FUN
Mr Dan and Miss Lindsay help Year 6 to improve their IT skills. The children gain an insight
into coding, making videos and playing games. Miss Leslie also asks Year 11 to “Get With The
Program” in her JavaScript programming club.

DIVERSIÓN TÉCNICA (TECH FUN). Mr Dan y Miss Lindsay ayudarán a los estudiantes de Year 6
a mejorar sus habilidades de TI. Miss. Leslie ayudará a los estudiantes de Year 11 a que “sigan
el programa” en su club de programación de JavaScript los miércoles.

COURSE, DIVE DOWN

SWIMMING AND SCUBA
The Swim Squad will recommence for Years 7, 8 and 9. In addition, Diving with Nic will offer
the PADI Open Water qualification to our Sixth Form. The course runs for 5 weeks, with two
one-hour sessions each week (students must attend on both Mondays and Fridays).

NATACIÓN Y BUCEO. El Swim Squad volverá a comenzar para los cursos de 7, 8 y 9.

DEBATE CLUB
Our students use this forum to develop communication skills; their confidence in
themselves grows, as does an ability to be open-minded and to think critically.

CLUB DE DEBATE. Nuestros estudiantes utilizan este foro para desarrollar sus destrezas de
comunicación; aumenta su confianza en sí mismos, así como la habilidad de ser abiertos de
mente y tener pensamiento crítico.

MURALS-MOSAICS-PROPS
Mr Mike and Mr Malachi will be working with Year 7 and Year 8 to produce a very special
50th anniversary mosaic. The team will also be involved in creating props for the Sixth Form
musical production.

MURALES-MOSAICOS-ATREZO. Mr Mike y Mr Malachi trabajarán con Year 7 y Year 8 para

crear un mosaico muy especial por el 50 aniversario. El equipo también participará en la
creación de atrezo para la producción del musical de Sixth Form.
FOOTBALL
Students from Year 6 all the way through to Year 9 are welcome to join us for football
training at Swans School. As always, our Sixth Form students are also invited to play the
highly competitive “Staff v Student” match each Friday.

FÚTBOL. Los alumnos de Year 6 hasta Year 9 están invitados a unirse al entrenamiento de

BASKETBALL
Swans Secondary School is delighted to partner with Club Baloncesto Marbella again this
year. They will be providing professional coaching for Years 6 through to 9.

BALONCESTO. El Colegio Swans de Secundaria está encantado de asociarse con el Club

Baloncesto Marbella una vez más este año. Proporcionarán un entrenamiento profesional
para los cursos de Year 6 hasta Year 9.

October 2021.
Please note that your child will not be able to start the
activity, if the inscription form is not submitted before
the mentioned date.
There are limited places for all activities and the criteria is
based on date of enrolment.

Su hijo/a no podrá comenzar las actividades si su
inscripción no ha sido entregada posteriormente a la
