We can now officially start Term 2. The Public Holidays are great, but can also be very disruptive.

Admissions
Grade 1 & Grade 8 admissions will be done online using the GDE Admissions Website.
Admissions opened at 8am on 2 May.

All current Grade R parents MUST apply online. Space is limited, do not delay.

Co-Curricular
On Saturday, 6 May we will be hosting an inter school sports day. Risidale and Robin Hills will join us with their soccer
and netball teams.

Finance Department
School Fees are payable on the first of every month over 10 months, (1 Jan -1 Oct).

Sharonlea Musical Revue

With the Birthday Concert behind us, we have started preparing for our Music Through the Ages Revue. This will take
place at the end of September. Each grade has chosen a decade and song. We are quite excited and look forward to this
music extravaganza.

School Uniform
Learners may change over to Winter Uniform as from Monday, 8 May. Please ensure that your child wears the correct
full winter uniform every day.

BIG Walk Fundraiser

Our main fundraiser for the year will take place on 28 June. This year we will be fundraising to paint our school roof. It
has started rusting and in need of a good paint. Please support this fundraising event and complete the Big Walk forms
when the learners bring them home.

Exam Timetable
Please refer to the back of the newsletter for the exam timetable. Exams will begin in exactly a month from now.
Learners must prepare a study time table and start revising.
