Mites(Acarus siro)

If you are reading this, either you are interested in learning stuff, or you have a colony of
insects or pets, and also you are screwed. Badly.

What are they and how do they look

Flour mite (Acarian de făină) with scientific name : Acarus siro ,are tiny insects that infest the
substrate and food of your pets. The mites are tiny and round, whitish or tan in color, and
have eight legs. They may cling to air holes of your enclosure and look like very fine sawdust.
Mites can not fly.

From eggs they hatch in larva( larval stage) with 6 legs, then form the larval stage they enter their nymphal stage where they have 8
legs.
