WARM UP (1 minute)
Teacher’s Interview:

 What’s your name? Surname?


 Do you like going to the movies?
 What kind of movies do you like?
 Do you practice a sport? How often?
 What is your favorite social networking site? Why?
 Do you have any working experience? If so, how did you go?
 What is your dream job? Why?

PAIR TASK (3 minutes)


Take turns to speak and to ask questions to your partner about the following topics/situations:

 What occupation do you consider to be easy/difficult? Why?


 What occupation do you consider to be well/badly paid? Why?
 What is an occupation you definitely do not like? Why?
 How do you deal with life’s little problems? Eg. The mobile phone is running out of battery, you are late
for your classes, it is raining and you have to go, etc.
 How many times do you look at your mobile phone? Why?
 How do you feel when you have to take risks? Can you speak about one experience?
 What is your reaction when things do not go the way you expected to?

INDIVIDUAL TASK (1/2 minutes)


Talk about one or two of the following topics:

 Speak about the last time you applied for a job/ scholarship/ university.
 Speak about the career you think will save the future.
 Speak about the time when you are planning to get a job. Say where, salary expectations, etc.
 Speak about the advice you can give to someone before a job interview.
 Speak about a time when you tried to do something difficult. Say the result.
 Speak about a place you have visited. Include details.
 Speak about a failure you have had. Include details.
 Speak about what you consider to be a good balance between work, family and free time.

Use one of the situations below to have a conversation with your classmate.
