Tilt-Up Panels

1.- Locate the concrete cover requirements per structural note 3/S0.1, from the reinforcing
steel section.

2.- Locate the PSI required for Tilt Walls and Slab on Grade per structural note 2/S0.1, from the
cast-in-place-concrete section.

3.- Locate the reinforcing bar lap splice table per T7/S1.1. and identify the lap splicing
requirements for the concrete elements in question. Read all the notes on this detail.

4.- Locate the structural panel elevations P22 & P29 on S5.1 and read all the precast concrete
wall panel notes. Locate the architectural partial west panel elevation 1A on A4.1 and identify
the top of wall elevation for both panels P22 & P29.

5.- Draw the concrete outlines for panels P22 & P29 on AutoCAD, the plan view dimension for
these panels is located on the partial first floor plan A2.1d. See example drawing W-37 for
drafting preferences and formatting.

6.- The reinforcing types for Panels P22 & P29 are boxed out in the middle of the structural
panel elevations on S5.1. Identify the reinforcing types required on sheet S5.3. Read the
keynotes that apply to the panels in question.

7.- Identify the typical panel details P1 & P8 per S5.5 and apply as needed.

8.- Provide the list of materials required to complete the installation of the reinforcing steel.
Please specify the size, length, and bend type specifications.
