Background of the Study

Marriage is found in all culture

that we traditionally practice. It is a
process by which individuals select
their life partners. It is an old
institution which regulate the term
upon which male and female
reproduce according to well defined
and acceptable social norms.
Marriage is considered as one of the
greatest part of a couple life. Things
that shall be cherish and treasure by
wedded couple.

In present Generation, many or

most of the teenagers are getting
marriage in early age. Especially our
Muslim brothers and sisters that
engage in arrange marriage in early
age in accordance to their customs
and traditions. Early marriage
typically defined as the union of two
adolescent joined in marriage from
the age range of 13-19 years old.

According to article 14 of the

Family Code of the Philippines,
consent of parents to marriage is
required only if the
participants/parties who intends to
get married are between the age
eighteen (18) and twenty one (21).
What is required of those between
the age of twenty one (21) and
twenty five (25) is mere advice of
parents, and not their consent.
Today, many teenagers are very
aggressive in the past few years.
This may cause such as cutting
classes, early pregnancy even early
marriage can affect their schooling,
family but most is their future.

Early marriage is a poor state

that a human interfering with. From
an early age, we meet other people
including our opposite sex. By
meeting them, we end up
communicating and developing
feeling. It is the start of the
relationship and can cause early
marriage. Many students in Senior
High School of ENHS involve in this
issue

Early Marriage affects the

person involved in many
psychological and social ways.
There were possibilities that the
couple who were married at their
young age struggles in facing the
hardships and difficulties of life
without learning and knowing what a
married life is.it is considerable that
this wedded couple is not yet ready
to face the difficulties of what
married life is.

In this study the researchers

wanted to inform other people that
this issue, early marriage, is a
serious case that people shall know.
The researchers involved
themselves to people who were
actually married at their young ages,
people who were not yet married
and people who were actually
married at their young ages, people
who were not yet married and
people who were engaged about the
topic. The study wanted to know the
profile and the status of the students
affected by the given situation.
