SHOUTS INTO THE PHONE.

She drops the phone.

2. INT. THE LODGE, LIVING ROOM - DAY/ CONTINUOUS

ENTER OMA. EJIRO IS FROWNING AND HITTING THE QUILT LIKE SHE

Oma picks up the quilt and places it gently on the couch.

But Ejiro picks it up again to start hitting the quilt once
more. Oma quickly snatches the quilt from Ejiro.

Nothing and you want to destroy the
quilt?
Oma places the quilt away from Ejiro. Ejiro tries to reach
another quilt but Oma is quick to pick up that one and keep
it far away from Ejiro.

OMA (CONT'D)

EJIRO

Oma scans the room quickly.

OMA
Aunty Kewve, where is she?

EJIRO
She has gone.

Oma exhales. She goes to sit down.

EJIRO (CONT'D)

Ejiro and Oma are sitting down quietly when Bella walks in.
Bella's phone continues to ring.

Bella takes her seat and then places the phone on her ear to
shout.

BELLA
Oh, leave me alone, Ozed! I am not
intere... (She stops and suddenly
tones down) Oh sorry, sorry.

She turns to look at Oma and Ejiro.

BELLA (CONT'D)
(Smiling)
How are you? Yea, we are fine. (She
looks at Oma) She is here...

Oma and Ejiro stare at Bella. Bella stretches the phone

towards Oma. Oma refuses to collect the phone from Bella.
Oma moves away from Bella. Bella moves towards her with the
phone. Oma is puzzled.

Bella whispers inaudibly while pointing a finger at Oma. Oma

is still puzzled.

OMA (CONT'D)

Oma snatches the phone from Bella. Bella goes to sit beside
Ejiro.

OMA
Ebuka, why would you be calling
Bella's phone? What happened to my

phone is with me here! (She starts to
look for her phone.) There was never
a missed call from you! Wait, let me
check.
Oma cannot find her phone anywhere in the living room. She
turns to look at Bella and Ejiro. Ejiro and Bella shake
their heads. Oma realizes that her phone is not with her.
She looks around once more for the phone before dashing out
and into the rooms.

Bella scoffs, smiling, same as Ejiro.

BELLA
Oma and Ebuka... How I wish it'd work
out between the two of them.

EJIRO
I don't wish that.
BELLA
Why?

EJIRO
Ebuka is not good for Oma.
BELLA
And how do you know that?
EJIRO

BELLA

Oma quickly stands up and hurries to join Bella at the door.
They stand by the door. We do not see who they are attending
to at the door.

6. INT. THE LODGE, LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS

Camera opens on a wrapped gift on the table. Oma and Bella

are staring at the gift, excitedly.
BELLA (CONT'D)
(Agitating)
Open it now.
OMA
Bella, relax first.

Ain't you going to see what's inside?
OMA

They stay quiet for a moment. Bella reaches for the gift.
Oma slaps her hand off.

Bella collects the wrapped gift, shakes it and listens. Then
she thinks.

OMA HURRIEDLY REMOVES HER PHONE TO ANSWER THE INCOMING CALL.

Bella is still looking at the pant. She exclaims.

Oma quickly uses her hand to cover Bella's mouth whilst
talking on the phone. She signals Bella to hide the pant.
Bella quickly uses a quilt to cover the pant.

Oma nods. She looks the way of the wall clock. Camera
follows her gaze to the clock. CLOCK READS: 3:15.
ENTER EJIRO.
Ejiro walks in. She is dressed hot and sexy. She sashays
into the living room, and takes a seat. Bella and Oma
continue to stare at her.
EJIRO
Girls. I have the proof.
BELLA
Proof of what?
EJIRO
Proof that Ebuka is not good for Oma.
OMA

10. INT. THE LODGE, LIVING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Bella and Oma seat, listening to Ejiro.

Oma barks at Ebuka on phone.

after two hours? Sorry for yourself,

to the video, giggling.
ENTER OMA AND BELLA. THEY ARE FROWNING. EJIRO QUICKLY PUTS
AWAY HER PHONE. SHE TURNS AROUND TO FACE OMA AND BELLA.
OMA (CONT'D)

BELLA

display.
Oma hurries inside and comes out with the pant gift.
