My name is Monserrat Martinez Cabanillas I am 18 years old; I was born on

September 6, 2003 in Ciudad Juárez Chihuahua, my parents are Lorena Cabanillas
and Héctor Martinez they had me at the age of 32 and 35 were young, and I have
my brother he is 24 years old is called Héctor Martinez just like my dad.

I will start with my first months of birth, the truth is that I those first months of
life, I was very bad in the hospital, I had several diseases that prevented me from
breathing, they had me intubated, my mother was the one who suffered the most
there, many sleepless nights, I didn't stop crying, in the hospital they treated me
badly, the doctors wanted to give me up but my mom didn't want to give up and
it was a very hard time for her, but thank God everything went well, and I'm alive.

I do not remember much of my childhood but what I remember is that I was in the Miguel Hidalgo I. Costilla
Kindergarten, I had many friends, and there I met one of my best friends is called Carla Ramos, I escaped from my
classroom to go to her classroom, it was a very crazy thing, but it was true.

My high school was Technique #60, it was a very beautiful stage in my life and the truth is that I would like to
return to time to be there again, also there I met another of my best friends called Gabriela Hernandez, my two best
friends I love very much because they are always for me at any time and never leave me alone.

Previously I was studying at the Colegio de Bachilleres Plantel #7 there I met many people who were part of my
life, and I think that stage was also one of the best in my life, I learned too many things. I am currently studying at
the Technological University of Ciudad Juárez and entered the Career of Information Technologies, for the moment
I am doing very well, I have a good average in the first units and I hope to continue like this until I finish my entire
career, one of the things I like to do the most and I think it is even a hobby, it's listening to music, all the time I
listen to music, I like to skateboard in my free time, and I really like the outdoors, walking in the park while I'm
talking to my best friend, etc.

One of my great qualities is honesty, the truth is that I never get to lie to people, I get nervous or start moving too
much, other of my qualities is adaptability, I like to adapt to everything, to new things, at first it costs me a little,
but then I get used to it.

Today is Tuesday, but I’m not working! I’m visiting my brother in Cleveland. It’s really
nice here and we’re having lot of fun. Yesterday we went to the mall and my brother’s
daughter, Lucy, got a haircut. She cried! Well, she’s only two. In the evening, my brother
had a party for some relatives and friends.
We talked and dance from 9.00 p.m. to 1.00 a.m., we laughed a lot, too.
I love Cleveland. It has a lot of great stores. Last Friday, we went shopping. I bought a new
skirt and blouse. Then we went to the zoo with my brother’s son Alex. He’s six. It’s not
my favorite place, but Alex loves it! In the evening, we went to a water park. It’s a really
good water park, and we all love swimming. We had dinner there, too.
