Among the seven 21st century literacy skills that we’ve talked about, what literacy do
you think is most developed within yourself? Talk about the possible advantages and
disadvantages the skill may bring you as a 21 st century Teacher. Try to specify your
content depending on your degree program.

The literacy that I think is most developed within myself is emotional literacy. The
definition of emotional literacy is the ability to understand your emotions, the capacity to
listen to others and empathize with their emotions, and the potential to demonstrate
emotions effectively. As I observed myself I had this literacy because of I understand
myself well especially on controlling when I got angry, and I like to listen others feeling
and advise them after. Some of my friends said that, I trustworthy and good because of
I can control my emotions after all the hurts I felt. The advantage of this literacy that I
can bring to 21st century teacher are I can control my angriness when I feel bad for the
students and understand the every emotion of a students and disadvantage also is
difficulty of giving and receiving negative feedback.
