Lots of people live in apartments, and their windows
usually have bars, yes, bars. But only people with
expensive things got them, because, if you don’t have
things to be stolen, you don’t need it, and thieves know
that.

CIVIC CULTURE
In a bus, for instance, people wait until the other ones go
out, for can enter there. If there is a zebra crossing, even
if there’s not a traffic light, cars stop and let people walk.

PUBLIC RESTROOMS
It’s hard to find one of them, it’s better that you go to a
supermarket or something like that for a bathroom.

I think it could be very difficult for us, because, we are happy
people. But if you go walking around with a broad grin on your face,
everybody will assume that you have mental problems, that you are
crazy, or that you are mocking them.

THE SOVIET UNION

They don’t like to talk about the Soviet Union. Perhaps some
old men say that they wish to come back there, but actually,
young adults and children don’t want it. That was a bad time
for them, and a lot of people wish to forget that past.

visiting someone. A good host will always give you
slippers in the door.

LGBT+
If you are LGBT+, you can’t show it outside. The majority
of the community think that there it can be homosexual
people. Some years ago, Russians voted in a survey
about the equal marriage, and the 86% of them, said no,
they are not agreed with it.
