Bar length
The total ranking of a product, represented by the bar length, is based on a weighted aggregate score. The score is calculated as follows:
The product with the highest count in each area gets the highest available score. (18 points for Reviews, Words/Review, Views and
Comparisons.) Every other product gets assigned points based on its total in proportion to the #1 product in that area.
For example, if a product has 80% of the number of reviews compared to the product with the most reviews then the product's points for reviews
would be 18 (weighting factor) * 80% = 14.4. For Average Rating, the maximum score is 28 points awarded linearly between 6-10 (e.g. 6 or
below=0 points; 7.5=10.5 points; 9.0=21 points; 10=28 points).
If a product has fewer than ten reviews, the point contribution for Average Rating and Words/Review is reduced: 1/3 reduction in points for
products with 5-9 reviews, two-thirds reduction for products with fewer than five reviews.
Reviews that are more than 24 months old, as well as those written by resellers, are completely excluded from the ranking algorithm.

The solution has improved our company's time to market. When we deploy a policy for a particular API, the creation of the policy
and the gateway is significantly faster than what we were doing with our Layer 7 gateways. It's easier to develop the policy and to

I develop proxy services for other vendors. Apigee is very fast in transferring requests and responses between Northbound systems
to Southbound systems. It has a very efficient logging system which is easy to maintain. Apigee Analytics dashboard is useful to

The company needs to better support webhooks. It used to support webhooks and their policies and they have since stopped.
They had some issues in the product and they abandoned the support for them. It's not come back since. Webhooks are still used
by some of our production partners. It would be nice to see the support for them come back. Right now, we have to pull the API

Our current project features more than a 1000 manual test cases, which took several days and resources to execute. Now, the suite
executes in six hours and less than two when run on multiple machines. With Jenkins connected, or the new cloud-based
StormRunner Functional Testing, the tests can be launched anytime, even at the end of day, and be ready for analysis the next

It is important to note here that another Micro Focus product, ALM (aka Quality Center and Test Director), has long suffered from
“click-itis” since its release. Nearly every dropdown is collapsed by default. Two option choices are implemented with dropdown
lists rather than radio buttons. Most edit fields require opening an additional edit panel in the unlikely chance you need to bold or

Initially, it was supporting only Internet Explorer. This was not an issue, as the corporate choice, was to use that browser. In the
meantime, Firefox and Google Chrome became popular and were introduced within the company, hence scripting became more

Object Spy is rather frustrating to work with, so I tend not to use it. Instead, I just go and look at the objects in the HTML code, in
Chrome for example. A more user-friendly Object Spy would be an improvement. I would like to see the extension to other GUIs

The browsing is messy. The solution tends to rush the tests on multiple processes. That doesn't work in most cases. They need to
write a different script for the same test case on the cloud and another script to run the test on Firefox, for example. Also, in terms of
reporting, in the documentation, it's mentioned that Katalon takes screenshots if the test case fails. But not on all test cases. I need

This product is freeware, so there is no charge for using it. There is a paid service available that offers a cloud database where you
can store your test cases, pull your test executions, get reports, etc. We're not currently using this service so I cannot comment on it.

In general, its user-friendliness needs a little improvement since there are a few bugs that still remain. It needs to be (possibly) more
lightweight and have more validation options. The bulk changes in the test cases are not always easy. But all in all, these are minor

They do have a confusing licensing structure. Their licensing structure is really complex and being able to find out the right product
for you, for an organization specifically, is a bit harder, but once you find the thing, their scalability and stability is pretty good. It's
not a simple licensing model. It's not a licensing model that just, "do this and you get this", it's a bit more complicated and quite
