A. Before the Lesson
Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity / Responses

Good Morning Class. Good Morning Ma'am / Sir.

Okay class, let's pray. (The student will bow their heads and pray )

the teacher. )
Look to the right, to the left. Now look up then
look down. Bent your back down and pick up
the pieces of trash. Lastly, arrange your chairs

Let's have a game called " Gotta List Them

All". The mechanics are as follows:
1. Choose one member among your

groupmates that will write your answers.
2. The first group who pass the correct number
and list of answers will be given the
corresponding points for that round. If the
answer is not correct and incomplete, other

group can steal the chance to pass their answer.

3. There will be three round: Easy (10 pts),
Medium ( 15 pts) and Hard (20 pts)
4. Scores will be listed on the score board.

Please write legibly. Any clarifications about

the mechanics of the game?

Did you enjoy the game? Yes Ma'am/Sir

What is the game all about? Combinations with Repetition

Very good. We would like to congratulate the

winning group with highest points.

B. Activity Proper (Lesson Proper)

Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity / Responses

I have here jumbled letters and operations

which will be given to each of the groups. I
want you to read and follow the directions very
carefully. The leader should assign a particular
task to each of the members. But the task
should be clear to all members. Our rubric for
this activity is also inside the set. You will be
given 15 minutesto do the activity and post
your work on the board or may use the laptop
and projector for presentation. During
presentation all are encourage to listen because
every set varies from one another. You will be
given 3 minutes for presentation and 1 more
minute if there are questions from your
classmates. If you have any question, feel free
to ask. Understood?

Circle your chairs per group and work quietly.

(Distribution of materials.)

Yes Ma'am/Sir.

C. After the Lesson (generalization)

Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity / Responses

What have we learned today? We learn about Combination with repetition

which is a kind of combination where you
select certain number or kind of elements
from a set, given that each element can be
selected multiple times. Also, we learned
about its formula:
(r+n-1)!
(Flashes/posts on board the Combination with nCr=
repetition)
r!(n-1)!

None Ma'am/Sir

Do you have any question?

D. Evaluation
Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity / Responses

Please arrange your chair with 1 seat apart.

With the concepts learned today, I want you

to answer 3 simple questions regarding it
Answers:

1. n= 4; r=2. Find nCr

2. A jeweler have 7 kinds of gemstones

1. 10
namely diamond, sapphire, ruby, emerald,
topaz, zircon and aquamarine. For the crown
she was making, it has 4 spaces for
gemstones to be placed. How many possible 2. 210
combinations does the jeweler can have?

3. How many three lettered word can be

formed from the word FLOWERING?

Exchange papers with your seatmate.

Answers are already flashed on the board.
Check your seatmate's answers.

3. 330
After checking return it to the owner.

(The students will exchange papers with their

seat mate.)

E. Assignment
Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity / Responses

Please have a copy of instructions for your

assignment.

Instructions:
Student will copy the instructions.
Create your own two real-life scenario that
involves the Combination with repetition.
Include also your solution in finding the
number of possible combinations.

Please return your chairs in proper place and
