Course Objective:

The main objective of this course is to provide fundamental knowledge of physics (optics, modern
physics, crystallography, nuclear physics, waves and oscillation with architecture acoustics) with a
complete overview of engineering physics that will be developed our students ability to identify,
conduct, analyze, and interpretengineering physics related problems and solve them such as design
a nuclear reactor and how electricity can be produced in the nuclear reactor using chain reaction,
design a modern large auditorium with uniform sound intensity by Sabine’s formula.

Expected Learning outcome:

After the completion of this course, the students will be able to

1. Use modern engineering physics knowledge and techniques including identification and
interpretation of engineering problems as well as phenomena.
2. Communicate their ideas effectively, both theoretically and experimentally andfunction
effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
3. Gain basic ideas and techniques how to catch a problem and way to solve it by the
fundamental engineering physics knowledge.
4. Use techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
