Negotiation
Supplier
- The factory was previously supplied with as much raw material as possible, and the end
product was subsequently pumped into the distribution network regardless of demand. The
factory will run until all external warehouses and on-site storage capacity have been filled, at
which point it will shut down. The factory will remain closed until inventory levels require a
restart.
+ To assure adequate supply, the Purchasing Manager will negotiate a contract with at least
two vendors.
+ To prepare for sintering, quicklime is delivered to the factory via bulk truck and injected
into silos. Other raw materials are transported in bulk carriers and pumped into silos.

4. The additional measures that I think should be considered in the decision process to
keep or replace the current three vendors (other than the current scoring items).
Firstly: Choose a supplier that meets all the factors. Time to fill orders/Delivery
reliability/Service level: The product's or service's ability to adequately sustain the company.
To implement these measures, the organization needs to increase its scale while also
improving the supply chain's quality. This aids the corporation in securing raw material
sources and reducing risks in the manufacturing and business processes.
The supply chain of Kerneos is one that is united. It is unavoidable that we become
interdependent. The company's supply chain plays a critical role in perfecting and improving
product quality.
Thirdly: Compassion and Reinforcement
The production process, cost, and quality directly affect the company and its affiliated
businesses, including production, transportation, quality, and quantity. The company's results
are a direct measure of the success or failure of the company's supply chain management.
