The New York Times with inclusion of an event about “Lawmakers Grapple Nagging

Infrastructure Detain” has deliberately brough out congress themes through its illustration.

The idea of not able to realize how frequent legislation and executive are in the news is now

evident through this event. The event involves both the legislative and executive sections

where democratic leaders are identified to be in demand of having the senate vote on a major

infrastructure bill with an immediate effect while the republicans are still in the struggle to

the votes that are essential for beating a filibuster. In the event the republicans are clearly

pointed out to be in the struggle to lay ground towards the senate vote but they have found

themselves hanging up on a familiar issue.

The event has covered various themes of congress where through the illustration of

the event it is able to depict the social movement that is being practiced by the republican

people. The article has elaborated the theme of congress through its effective illustration of

the legislative event and how the social movement has been necessitated by a certain group of

individuals who are still part of the legislative group. Deriving the idea from the congress

illustrations on how legislative and executive events are on news, there is a direct

correspondence that is established between this event and its continuous highlighting in the

news thus offering an explanation on the congress theme. However, this is effective as the

action that is contributed by the republican group within the event contributes to the point of

having the event a news headline thus meeting the congress theme demands. On analysis of

the story, it is evident that the critical demands of congress have been adhered to within the

event and this will make it be in the news thus meeting what is expected out of the congress.

The news story is clearly illustrated in The New York Times 13th July 2021 where there is

full illustration of the event.
