Humanities is an academic discipline that is concerned with the study of human

society and its culture. It is also devoted to understanding the different phenomena
within the cultural contexts. Moreover, humanities include the study of ancient and
modern languages, philosophy, history, literature, religion, and art. Scholars who are
dealing with humanities are called humanists which describes the philosophical position
of humanism. Furthermore, humanities studies how people process and develop and
record this human experience through literature, philosophy, and art as their avenue of
understanding and recording the world.
