To manage your account online or on your mobile device and to register devices for Fibroniks
on the Go (for use at our ZOLspot locations), you will need to create a myZOL account. You can
do this by going to www.zol.co.zw and then clicking on the myZOL icon or by downloading the
myZOL app (available both on Play Store and App Store).

HOW TO SET-UP

Once connected, the set up will look
similar to the diagram:

Are you the DIY type?
a. Remove the plug from the ATB box inlet and from
the port labelled Optical at the back of the ONT
Fibre modem.

b. Take the yellow patch cord from the box and


remove the caps on either end.

c. Plug in one end of the patch cord into the inlet on


the ATB box and the other end into the optical port
on the modem. Be careful not to acutely bend the
cord otherwise it will break.

d. Power up the modem. You should notice the


power light (solid), WLAN light (solid), PON light
(blinking) and the TEL1 light (solid). That means
your modem is ready for registration. Wait at least
10 minutes for the modem to finish registering.
Registration has completed successfully when
PON light goes from blinking to solid.

e. Connect to your Wi-Fi and experience superfast


speeds!

Getting connected

The ONT provided broadcasts Wi-Fi in your home/office. Kindly refer to our Wi-Fi disclaimer
section at the back of the sign up form, regarding Wi-Fi coverage. The modem also comes with a
phone port Tel 1, where you can connect a phone. (See diagram below)

Connecting using Wi-Fi


(Wi-Fi enabled devices usually include phones, laptops, tablets or TVs)
The Wi-Fi connection details are as provided on page 1. Use the Wi-Fi setup program on your
device to search for available Wi-Fi networks. Typical process for most devices is

- Open your settings program and go to Wireless Networks,


- Search for network,
- Select the network SSID as indicated on the modem or on page 1.
- Put in the password as indicated on the ONT or on page 1.

Once your device is connected, enjoy ZOL Fibroniks broadband experience.


Repeat the same process for all your Wi-Fi enabled devices.

Connecting using physical cable

(Devices that require cable connections are usually not Wi-Fi capable
e.g. DSTV Explorer decoder, TV etc. However, this setup can also be
used as a preferred option for Wi-Fi capable devices)

1) Locate the 4 Ethernet ports located at the back of the modem labelled as LAN1
right up to LAN4. Only LAN1 is active by default. Should you like all ports
activated, please
contact the Call Centre
for assistance.

QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Make sure to:


1. Never remove the power cable from the modem as a way to switch it off
as this can damage the modem.

2. Never reset the modem by pressing the RESET button as this will remove all configurations
from the modem.

3. Do not cover the modem as this blocks the ventilation of the modem circuitry.

4. Avoid changing the modem location as it may damage the patch cable.

How to manage and recharge your ZOLphone:


Using the handset:
On your ZOLphone handset, dial your voucher number/pin followed by a * (star), then dial your
number followed by the # tag. i.e. (Voucher PIN*VoIP Number#)

username and password or pin to log on.

2. Go to Account Recharge – and enter the account


recharge pin (including the # symbol)

Buying ZOLphone credit


ZOLphone credit is available from:
• Any Econet or ZOL shop
• Online at www.topup.co.zw/zolphone
with EcoCash, TeleCash, VISA,
MasterCard or ZimSwitch.

ACCOUNT PAYMENTS
Payments to ZOL Zimbabwe (ZOL) can be made in the following ways:

1. Ecocash Online - This is the most convenient way to pay ZOL. Go onto
https://pay.zol.co.zw/econet/, or on the EcoCash instant payment link on your invoice.

2. Online Payments - You can now pay via VISA, Mastercard, Telecash or Zimswitch using
Paynow, an online financial services platform. Go to https://pay.zol.co.zw/paynow/
to make your payment.

myZOL is an interactive platform that keeps you in touch with all that's happening in your ZOL
universe and helps you manage your ZOL Fibroniks account.

myZOL can be accessed online or through the mobile application (download from Apple Store
or Google Play).

Registering on myZOL

• Go onto myZOL.co.zw.
• Click on “Register” and follow the instructions
• Use your ZOL Customer ID (e.g. ZOL-00001) when prompted to do so.

We designed this handy site to save you time and costs of making a phone call or trip to the
local branch office. We hope you find it useful!

How to manage your account


1. Click on My Account, then My Profile, to bring up a page with your detailed contact
information. Please verify the details and if any of your contact information has
changed please update it and click on the SAVE button for automatic update on our
database. You can also change your account password from here.

2. To view the services that you subscribed for with ZOL, click on My Services. A list of all
the services you are subscribed to will appear. Click on any service to view more
information.

3. Under My Bills you will find a list of in0voices and credit notes (if applicable), the billing
dates, totals, amounts due and payment dates.

FIBRONIKS ON THE GO!


Fibroniks on the Go! is a ZOLspot WiFi Service that
allows ZOL Fibroniks Users to connect when they
are away from the comfort of their own Home or
Office using registered devices. Fibroniks on the Go!
also allows users to securely make online payments
and send or receive data securely owing to .robust
encryption we set on all ZOLspots. If you are a ZOL
Fibroniks on the Go user, you may connect and use
ZOLSecure or Fibroniks on the Go.

How to register your devices
To link your device to your existing Fibroniks package:

• Login to myzol.co.zw or register if you have not done so.


• Go to My Account then Fibroniks on the Go
• Click on “Add New Device” and follow the instructions.

How to Connect to ZOL Secure/Fibroniks on the Go


To link your device to your existing Fibroniks package:

1. Visit your nearest ZOLspot.

2. Connect to ZOLsecure/Fibroniks on the Go using your wireless device or


Fibroniks on the Go registered device.

3. Enter the respective username and password (Fibroniks on the Go credentials)


for the device in use when prompted to do so. Your Fibroniks on the Go
credentials are the username and password you created when you registered or
linked your device.

4. When logged in, you are ready to experience superfast

How do I top up my account?

1. Go to any ZOL shop or


2. While connected to your capped service, go to portal.zol.co.zw and click on Buy
top up now.

Please note that simply paying into your ZOL account will not automatically order a top-up
service. You must buy top-ups through the portal or at a ZOLshop for the top-up service to be
added.

How many devices can I connect?

Depends on the package you are subscribed


to. Each package has a recommended limit for
an optimum experience. Go to the ZOL website
to check your package’s limit.
