Goals/Objectives:

- The learner will be able to describe the attributes of fractions and how to identify them
(CC.2.1.4.C.1).
- The learner will be able to manipulate a fraction bar to visualize the value of fractions
(CC.2.1.4.C.2).
- The learner will be able to apply their knowledge of fractions values when documenting their
results on a number line (CC.2.1.4.C.1).
- The learner will be able to determine values of a fraction by writing them on a number line
(CC.2.1.4.C.1).
- The learner will be able to apply the strategies of adding/subtracting fractions with like
denominators and adding mixed numbers with like denominators to solve a series of problems
(C.2.1.4.C.2).
- The learner will be able to express understanding of adding/subtracting fractions with the same
denominators and adding mixed numbers with like denominators by solving problems using
visuals, number lines, and numeric equations (C.2.1.4.C.2).
-The learner will be able to identify fractions on a number line (CC.2.1.4.C.1).
- The learner will be able to apply concepts of equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting
fractions with like denominators in a unique way by designing their own pizza
