2.3. LED diagnostics of CANopen Systems

Structure of the CANopen system bus (Controller Area Network):

Control CANopen
The control is a high-speed CANopen system, with 125 baud.
The CAN line required at the end of the line a terminating resistor of 60 ohms.
CAN High Voltage to GND approximately 2.6V Low Voltage CAN approximately 2.6V to GND

Blink the green LED on KN400rail Code:

There are two green LED for CAN diagnosis Presence:
- The left LED [in a code switch] gives information about the (climate - a CAN bus)
- The right LED [under coding 3] gives info on the (Control - 2 CANopen bus)

The following flash codes are defined in the KN400rail:

1 x flashing operation is not disturbed (connection to at least one node exists)
2 x flashing Master:
An expected node is not found
Slave:
Node is not configured yet waiting for command
Master or KS45rail (Virgin)
3 x flashing KS45rail or KN400rail perform self-test or valve
4 flashes no CAN connect to the node, or operating unit (connect lost)
5 flashes CAN hardware fault in the wiring
6 x Flashing emergency operation (emergency operation)

The following flash code is defined in the KS45rail:

Note: Flash code for the link KS45rail to the master!
1 x flashing operation is OK (to connect to master)
2 x flashing expected KN400 a master is not found
3 x flashing KS45rail or KN400rail perform self-test or valve
4 flashes CANopen connection to the master KN400rail lost (connect lost)

The nodes and be switched from the KS45rail KN400rail administered by Master on and log-
out.
Log In: When logging is the position, software version and configuration
for 5 seconds on the display.
Log Off: When Logout is ---- the position, as displayed and version number.

Control over the failure of the KS45rail CANopen:

In normal operation, the operating conditions over the control of the CANopen control
KS45rail to KN400rail Master will be transferred. Will also be transferred via hardware wiring
signal (enable control) to KN400rail. Only when the signal (release management) and
CANopen communication is available, the system work properly.

When KS45rail failure or interruption of the line are no CANopen Control signals to the mas-
ter KN400rail transferred and registered an error. By creating the signal (release manage-
ment) despite the lack of control switches CANopen connection from the KS45rail KN400rail
to the Master after about 5 minutes in the operating AUTO to ensure the operation. If the sig-
nal (release control turned off), is the KN400rail OFF.
