SAFETY DEVICES AT HOME

Learning Task No. 1: Enumerate some of the appliances found at home or in your

community. Identify if it has safety devices. Explain how each safety device function.

Safety Device: circuit breaker. Fuse

How the safety devise functions : Circuit breaker protects protects the computers fragile
electrical circuits. The fuse breaks the circuit if a fault in the refrigerator causes too much
current to flow.

Learning Task No. 2: Write your reflection about safety devises installed in your home or in

your community.

I understand that every safety device has different functions and uses in our appliances at home.

I realized that having a safety device is important because they protect us from fire and injury
shocks/electrocution.
