a. Symbols on Instrument

Grounding terminal, must be connected


before Operate this device.

Caution, High Voltage Area.

- Do not apply voltage to the Output


- Polarity on Output must be red to (+) and Black to (-)
- Polarity on Input must be red to (Phase) and Green to (Neutral)
- Input Must be AC Volatge and Output Must be DC Volatge
2. Introduction

Lighting Arrester Extensions is used as an extensions to help increase


voltage from LA counter.

3. Quick Intructions
a. Charging

- Connect the external cable as shown as on figure (Cable from


Regulator Ac must be connected to Input terminal and cable from
Multimeter connected to measurement terminal).
- Turn on regulator AC.
- Turn Selector to On Position. (Note: Turn On the Selector One by One).
- Turn MCB to On Position. (Note: DO NOT Turn ON MCB before Selector
switch is ON Position).
- Rotate AC regulator to increase the Voltage until the measurement
Value is 300 VDC.
- Hold for 1 Minute.
- Turn Off the MCB.
- Turn Off the Selector. (DO NOT turn off the selector before MCB is Off).
- Do step 1 – 8 for Each selector/ Capasitor.
b. Injection.

- Connect the output cable as shown as on figure (Output (-) from


extensions (black terminal) connect to output (+) LA Counter (Red
terminal).
- Connect Output (+) from extensions (red terminal) to Upper terminal at
Counter .
- Connect Output (-) from LA Counter (black terminal) to Lower terminal
at Counter.
- Turn On LA Counter, then Charge until maximum voltage.
- After fully charged, Push “impulse test” on LA Counter to inject the
Voltage to the Counter.
