1. Spoken announcement or verbal announcement is a type of announcement that is
reported orally. Usually done at information centers and often found in public places
such as airports, hospitals, supermarkets, cinemas, schools, and other public places,
where there are crowded crowds of visitors.
Announcements of this type are usually important and informative, so it is important
to understand some examples of spoken announcements in English so that wherever
we are, we can always be aware of important situations like this, especially if we are

The characteristic are:
- Usually begins with saying “attention, please” or anything like that.

Many people here do not mean everyone, only certain people who have an interest
in the announcement.
Announcement text serves to inform information about a particular event that is
conveyed formally to the general public or a particular community.
The characteristics of announcement text are as follows:
• There is a title or type of event.
• Using simple present tense sentences, but not infrequently also using simple
future tense.
• Use conjunctions or connecting words.
• There are time information such as date (date), time (time), and place
(place) which are part of the announcement text.
• There is an address and contact person who can be contacted.
• There are events or events.
