We
use
the
Present
Perfect
to
say
that
an
action
happened
at
an
unspecified
time
before
now.
The
exact
time
is
not
important.
It
is
however,
used
with
unspecific
expressions
such
as:
ever,
never,
once,
many
times,
several
times,
before,
so
far,
already,
yet
The
Present
Perfect
is
formed
from
the
present
tense
of
the
verb
have
and
the
past
participle
of
a
verb.
We
use
the
Present
Perfect:
1. For something that started in the past and continues in the present:

talking
about
our
experience
up
to
the
present:
Note: We often use the adverb ever to talk about experience up to the present:
Have you ever met George? Yes, but I’ve never met his wife.

use

tense
with
since
to
show
when
something
started
in
the
past:
