Basic Spool-Assembly
Spool assembly consists of catcher, stops (2), spring, spool and plug.
ID number of “spool assembly” is stamped on catcher. Numbers on the spool
end are date code and spool part number. Spools are only sold as spool
assemblies.

Electric Proportional Valves
Spool Valves 2006
…..The History
The PVG valve was the first
proportional valve on the market for
the Mobile Hydraulics Industry with
electrical closed loop (feed back)
control.
Spool Valves 2006
……..PVG History-Today-Future
BAT
Latest in PVE’s
• PVHC PWM controlled (open loop, no Fault Monitoring)
• PVEP PWM controlled 100-1000 Hz, 2 input signals 10-
80% DC Fault Monitoring and spool position feedback
• 0-10V Vs control signal (2.5V(A)–5V(neutral)–7.5V(B))
PVE applications
Main features:
Feedback philosophy

Internal Closed loop control compensations
•Immune to Flow forces •Immune to pilot pressure variation
•Immune to Viscosity •Linear control
•Immune to Temperature variations •No adjustments, no temp. drift
•Immune to Supply voltage variation •Fault monitoring possible
