QUIZ 4

PURPOSE AND TARGET AUDIENCE

PlayerUknown's BattleGrounds (PUBG) has become the battle royal-style game in the

past couple of years. Players are virtually attached to 99 other players on a steadily declining

globe. The idea of the game is to achieve the survival of the fittest form of competition, in which

the strongest player is the longest survivor[ CITATION Car16 \l 1033 ]. Players are allowed to

engage organically and to disagree with one another not only because they have been brought

into the universe and the purpose is supposed to be known.

Over the past three years, the Battle royale has seen an increasing play culture and many

gamers waiting for a breakthrough game with e-sports ambitions[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ].

The gaming group is known as "PLAYERUNKNOWN." For his work on other royal war games,

Brendan Green revealed that he would not start building a royal fight game as a patch or home

edit of another video game – or a simple cash collection – but rather a real, e-sports game.

In marketing terms, PUBG not only greatly reached its target demographic by creating a

polished iteration of a trendy genre but also came out on schedule, capitalizing on decreasing

customer demand in what would be the main competitive players and the highest obstacle to

entry a year earlier.

Casual gamers, who in the past were hardcore and strategic players. It is the business

objective. Such games like Clash of clan hardcore players can see stuff as important as hardcore

strategic games, e.g., such as basic construction, strategic defensive positioning, economic boost

against military supranationality, and well-planned assaults, etc., in this game[ CITATION

Car16 \l 1033 ]. The whole strategy game experience seldom gets around, but it may also be a
6

blessing. And CoC did about all correctly about popularity. The tread is at the fingertips. Without

a single hostile move, you will invest days, months, or even years. Yes, you are assaulted, looted,

and robbed. However, protection or shields can still be bought against disincentives. CoC

promotes theory if you choose to create a peaceful, economic game[ CITATION Car16 \l 1033 ].

On the other hand, the social nature of this game is quite charming. Both your Facebook or

Gamecenter buddies can be found instantly on the page. A "clan" may be created, and all the

friends in it are added. There is space for endless casual chatter as there are no limitations to the

clan talk. Through entering obscure clans, you may also meet new mates.

FUNCTIONALITY

Clash of clans is often built such that prolonged hostility can be prevented. It is a great

idea because it stops people from continuously criticizing the same individual—browser-based

game such as "Ikariam" when playing. There are several CoC-like cities, but the biggest problem

is that everyone and everyone will strike as you can. But if a bad player could be identified, it

was very simple to target him before he just stops playing[ CITATION Gru07 \l 1033 ]. In CoC,

this would never occur. Unless you are in your clan, you cannot even tell them. Thus, you can

have one shot to kill them if anyone attacks you and steals your resources. This is it. This is it.

Whether you're losing, you're losing. Whether you score, you're winning. Afterward, little to be

achieved. It is almost impossible to find the same opponent for assault. You can't choose who

you want to attack, as opposed to some sports. You may target the opponent or skip to the next

random opponent by paying any coins[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ]. The game picks an

opponent for you. Similarly, war on your chosen enemy cannot be proclaimed; war opponents

are often automatically selected (in which each clan's top players will battle each other).
7

The gaming of PUBG is restricted to 30 FPS (frames per second). It can still reach 60

FPS on Apple and Samsung's top-end flagships with sophisticated tuning, but a 60 FPS control

button will be the best for the players. Gaming at 60 FPS is ideal for competitive multiplayer

games since the response speed can be improved. Smooth and attentive gameplay will also be

possible. The integrated streaming and share options currently available in PUBG are quite

simple that only share screenshots[ CITATION Jon18 \l 1033 ]. However, an integrated

broadcasting and uploading system will support many in PUBG Mobile, allowing more players

to exchange gaming experiences. PUBG has learned a great deal by being playing on budget

computers with little storage space. It is quite common. However, with a 1,6GB game size on

Android, there's plenty of room for the game. Plus, if you want to play in these situations, you

need to download maps like Sanhok, Miramar, and Vikendi. It is annoying because the base

game isn't bundled with them.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

For the Clash of Clan game also, a good design principle has been followed. Similar to

PUBG, this game has also followed a good color scheme in the design process. All the users

have provided good feedback about this user interface design. In the following section,

prototypes of this game are discussed and evaluated[ CITATION Köh04 \l 1033 ].
8

Figure 1: Login User Interface of Clash of Clan Game

The login interface is very much unique for this game as it provides several options to the

users. The buttons used for this game are very clear, which is an important advantage of this user

interface.

Figure 2: Game User Interface of Clash of Clan Game

9

The user interface used for this game is very much clear and attractive. All the elements

of this interface are visible, which is an important advantage of this interface.

Figure 3: War User Interface of Clash of Clan Game

The above interface represents the war conditions of the game. As the user can attack

bases of others, this is the interface used to provide the war experience to the users. This

interface is designed so nicely that it depicts the war between clans[ CITATION Lin12 \l 1033 ].

All the icons are presented in a very well manner that users can easily interact with them using

the touch interface. So, from an overall aspect, the Clash of Clan game has followed a very good

user interface.

Environment appropriate principle

When users see new vocabulary on the interface, their behaviors are quickly confused

and unconfident. Users can comprehend every device quickly without looking at a dictionary.

PUBG is a royal-style game battle game (in short, it is a large-scale game where the player and

the player will shoot to the last person). The player in PUBG can collect and use numerous guns.
10

Any firearm in the game has the same name as in the real world, from handguns to submachine

guns or sniper rifles[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ]. The 'Beretta 686 Silver Tigeon' in the game,

for example, is essentially the same name and appearance as the weapon used to kill actual clay

tigers. It means that players with similar games or knowledge of real firearms will easily select

their guns without taking the time to get acquainted with specific names of guns.

Depth

Clash of Clans is a game full of decisions and compromises, and the diversity of attack

and defensive tactics are part of what makes Clash enjoyable. Multiple armies and configurations

of the village cater to various players, each having its special abilities.

For Depth to thrive, many convincing and competitive tactics should often be chosen. It's

critical to keep the game well balanced, and we never consider a troop or protection to be in iron[

CITATION Pap19 \l 1033 ]. You may, as a player, spend time in a tactic that can become nerves

or disturbances, but these improvements still enrich the overall gameplay complexity.

USER EXPERIENCE

Clash of clans open-minded UX Designers team is interested in the user interface and

user experience. Since COC debuted in 2012, there have been several changes. For instance, they

often invite COC fans and ask for proposals. COC changes a lot to keep players happier and

meets the demands of players[ CITATION Gru07 \l 1033 ]. The developing team often listens to

the player's experiences' voices to adjust the specifics and add new elements.

At the beginning of the COC, for example, as most of the military camp's players

"destroyed the other players, the soldiers would perish and sacrifice weapons using a mechanism

such as mortality roles[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ]. But when players sign soldiers all expired,
11

it was part of discovery, and the player had to start to strengthen the status again and repeated

these troubling tasks. To strengthen this condition, COC is increasingly upgraded to the

Supercell.

In the latest upgrade, PUBG Corp has increased colorblind usability. The blood, crate

smoke, and size and article will now alter colors based on the colorblind form selected; map

signs will sport numbers that may be used by a method other than color to render them visible.

Other updates to UI and UX include dead teammates' ability to put markers on the maps, the kill

feed to show knockouts, load screens to show strategy tips, and players' ability to collect the

right award when their last surviving teammate disconnects before the game finishes. For

optimizing the title, PUBG Corp rendered ten changes, from car smoke and fire optimization to

graphics functionality to the smooth running of the game[ CITATION Pap19 \l 1033 ].

ADDED VALUE FOR THE USER

PUBG Users frequently mistakenly select interface features and require a simple

"emergency escape" to flee the undesired state without a prolonged discussion. Undo and redo

support. Tons of symbols are on the site, and the welcome tab can be easily clicked on. Luckily,

the Release button in the top right is still there to reverse my decision and quit. The Exit button

feature allows players to fix a wrong part[ CITATION Car16 \l 1033 ]. The top right corner

allows players to explore it while other smartphone game features have the overshadowed

motion of shaking off the interface (such as typing).

Accelerators often unnoticed by the beginner users in clash of clans can also speed up the

interaction for the skilled user so that the device may appeal to both new and seasoned users.

Allow users to customize frequent acts. The game players typically need more obstacles to
12

produce more entertainment. With repeated practice on playing sports, players can decrease time

and more skillful in the game. But the game needs to design more rivalry and enjoyable for both

beginner players and seasoned players. For example, clans' mobile clashes have rates with rich

resources land per loop[ CITATION Pap19 \l 1033 ]. It is simple to select if it falls on the flat

land, though challenging to pick when landing on the top. The beginner players skip it, although

seasoned players use tactics to jump on.

ISSUES FROM THE MOBILE GAMES

CoC users' common problem is a message saying, 'Clash of clans has unfortunately

stopped operating.' Of course, this is a rather popular problem in Android devices, and the repair

is very easy. Bug-free Supercell ID First off – if one did not know, Supercell ID is a free CoC

game developer service that saves your cloud game. It fits all Supercell games, including Clash

Royale. Since PUBG first came out, the way the game will transform into an esports

environment was a lot of mystery[ CITATION Jon18 \l 1033 ]. Now, several questions remain

on how good the game still performs as an escort. Having frequent bugs and flaws made "sports

ready" a joke; the game does not fit well in a technical environment. It works quite well. PUBG

suffers from a severe material deficit, and repeated declines in cosmetics cover this void very

low. More charts, modes, and weapons are what the game wants, but PUBG Corp takes more

than a while to launch them now.

QUIZ 5

Multiplayer Car Racing Game

Game UI design, I can find shortcuts to make it easy and enjoyable for the player. Isn't

this usually what game consumers expect? The players are not willing to invest a lot of time in
13

unexpected navigation, and they want it to be straightforward and get them back into the game

process. There is another difficulty in the mobile game UI concept: programmers handle far

fewer screen rooms than film and computer games.

The game interface design phase began, and any company, educational, or utility app I

have developed. This is the stage through which I began to develop relationships and navigation.

Wireframes display the monochrome displays before contemplating presentation and styling to

reflect on the interface and transitions[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ]. No pictures and animations,

schematic symbols, and simple types – all of this allows creators to clearly and effectively

discuss the whole flow of interactions. UI concept in mobile games wants this stage whatever it's

vibrant and fun to be. Here you can see some of the Real Racing screens;
14

Figure 4

The first screen was the configuration of the screen: by clicking on the CTA button, users

began the game; below, the button was shown linking them to other users' invites to compete.

The key information was shown on the top of the screen: gasoline bars, coin number, car shop,

and notifications, while on the bottom of the screen, the leading board and the configuration.

The second screen featured the car sorting process: The car slider swiped left-hand and

right-hand, displaying the car below the screen. Also, users can pick the car color and select it for

the game by pushing the switch.

The third of the displays displayed the features of difficult mates. The full name is Real

Multiplayer Racing. Users can be pleasant as solitary racers and imitate a real competitive race

with other players within a limited period. The layout included player cards that indicate how

many are ready.

When I accepted and checked both experiences, I started to work at the UI level. It

intends to create a pleasant and cool appearance and emotional appeal in the already defined

interaction flow.

UI DESIGN

Working with UI solutions, I began with color scheme choices to find out which would

best suit the customer's game style view. There were two separate versions for the client,

including one centered on a warm color palette, with a large amount of orange and red,

synonymous with fun and velocity, and another based on blue, one of the most common colors

consumers.
15
16

Figure 5

Figure 6

Users tend to enjoy a cold color palette concept but wish to bring a visual success

atmosphere to night races. The next iteration then offered the final look based on the dark color

scheme: it applied the necessary emotional attraction, established the necessary ambiance, and

gave the graphics a profound, sophisticated visual feel. Gradients dependent on the colors of the

cars picked imitated the impression that the night road reflected. Some of the displays are here.
17

Figure 7

I used various colors for users to discern between them all of the screens shown so that

the main feature in the interface contrasted with the secondary choices was the button linked to

the beginning of the game. The icons were often built in a harmonic, visual, and another graphic

type hybrid.
18

Figure 8

The backdrop of different displays used diagonal lines to connect race tracks. You can

see above in the competitive mode the rhythm of other players competing for a win.
19

Figure 9

The slider enables the consumer to pick the choices and easily check their properties.

This series of images features the mechanism of car collection. The consumer may also choose

the preferred color after choosing the model. As you can see, I used the mixed backdrop

approach: cars are shown on the light background while the majority is on the black. It offers

good contrast and harmoniously separates the material on display.

20

Figure 10

No secret, boards play a major role in user motivation, in particular in-game applications.

The app's leaderboard screens gave a user the idea of the best players and their advancement and

enabled them to invite them into the game.

The fascinating feature I saw worth is the architecture of the user experience for a

smartphone game. Even entertainment and fun, a bright experience in history was shown in this

project on Real Multiplayer Racing. Deep research and testing, careful attention to detail, and

original methods were needed. Even in games, it was seen as entertainment and fun. The

combined variables would please the players and help the game stand out in harsh competitive

environments.
21

Reasons for Design

The design of a mobile app is a major challenge if it's a life-changing app concept,

company app, mobile game app, especially when it has to survive amid millions of other

established applications[ CITATION Jon18 \l 1033 ]. However, it is very interesting to know

why mobile app design is extremely critical and how a bad decision will lead to your investment

being in vain. With a range of application design firms, choosing the best mobile app design

company will not prevent.

Our subconscious is conditioned, essentially, to be drawn to its colors and atmosphere.

Therefore Product Design plays an important part in the fascinating public besides the app

growth, which enables the app further to meet its goals[ CITATION Jon18 \l 1033 ]. A design

issue most important for each feature, with a pleasing impact on its experience, could promote

the idea and assist the public by having them theoretically involved.

Purpose

The mobile car racing game gives the player a difficult and pleasant experience in a car

race with a powered car. Racer is a contemporary video game. Although the player's objective in

the game is to win the competition against the regulated vehicle, the tactics implemented in the

game are mostly intended to offer the player a pleasant time running his car. It means that the

goal of competing on both sides is not a top priority.

You don't only get more features in the car competition game. It enables viewers to

engage in the sport and get to know very few things that you would not know otherwise. It

provides detail similar to actual life, from tire wear schedules to fuel usage[ CITATION God11 \l

1033 ]. Therefore, the games are so significant. Never have the evolution and continuous

improvement of games been so critical, especially when access in real life is so restricted.
22

Fans would like new additions regularly, some of which would be more difficult than

others. Some like the opportunity to go across the paddock, for example. It would be wonderful

and will practically unlock too many doors, but it can get tricky for most users playing with a

wheel[ CITATION Car16 \l 1033 ]. With these games in the future, stuff like augmented reality

might become pretty crazy. Fans would have a lot to expect, and now we have to do the features.

Mobile racing games are a huge part of many people's lives, and it's not evil. It offers

people a forum for social life, relaxation, and leisure. So gamers get pretty excited when games

are made to imitate real lives. Why, then, are these games so important? They have an

opportunity nobody else can deliver. No live race or meeting the drivers will allow you the

opportunity to feel the drivers entirely[ CITATION Lin12 \l 1033 ]. Of course, the feeling is not

the same, but it is very cool to grow up in a profession and compete with the best in the world.

With your name on timesheets above Lewis Hamilton, you sound like a celebrity.

CRITICAL REFLECTION

Future business developments and technologies

The value of the mobile game market was an incredible $68.5 billion in 2019. This is also

45% of the overall value of the gaming sector, now at 152 billion dollars. It has rendered a

remarkable 10.2% year on year for the smartphone game market, which hasn't gone unnoticed.

Many major world companies have invested massively in the smartphone game market and

actively bought everything from successful gaming companies to successful developers. But it

didn't end there[ CITATION Pap19 \l 1033 ]. The value of mobile gaming's sales could reach

$77.2 billion by 2020. By 2020. The recorded increase was 13.2 percent from 2019 to 2020. The

mobile gaming market is expected to gain over $77.2 billion by the end of 2020 by recording a
23

13.2 percent growth from 2019. Before August 2018, investments worth 9,6 billion dollars in the

global gaming industry were created in the previous 18 months.

The coming of social gaming is still the last major tipping point for both the monetization

of apps and the monetization of games. Now, smartphone games are undeniably the greatest

development in the mobile gaming market for 2020 and beyond, with dizzying increases and

huge revenues. If in the decade that has just passed, you have not lived under a brick, you would

realize how large a moving game phenomenon has become. From PUBG to Coc, in the 2010s,

amazing games became increasingly common worldwide[ CITATION Jon18 \l 1033 ]. But it

wasn't totally surprising, considering such an increase. Games have always been in vogue and are

fuelled by a passionate gambling culture that only ties in with the industry's finest.

Things to Consider for a Succesful Design

Work on an Idea

Ideation is the most complicated and important phase to build a mobile game. It is

important to have a killer idea for a mobile game to succeed. Sadly, the method to produce fresh

concepts cannot be pursued directly. Anything new and entertaining is important to discovering a

concept[ CITATION Car16 \l 1033 ]t. The concept could attract a general public to assist you in

making money.

One common technique is to improvise an existing idea rather than from scratch thinking

about a new idea. Some improvisations are Coc and PUBG, as seen before.

Tell a story

In the gaming community, stories go a fairway. Your players need a goal to complete the

game, and you would need a plot as plain as it can be. It's not challenging to create a
24

plot[ CITATION Pap19 \l 1033 ]. Only answer these questions regarding your characters to build

it, and for your game, you can get a story:

Who's the narrator and the storyteller?

What are the weaknesses and strengths?

Why do they struggle with each other?

How's the hero going to win?

Easy and Addictive

A bit of retention of users for your game goes a long way. Any features that can render a

game addictive is foolproof. Your game should be easy, fast-moving, and enjoyable with genuine

art and a difficulty level steadily rising. Players are often inclined to lose interest in long

games[ CITATION Lin12 \l 1033 ]. To maintain their commitment, build short levels with a

large amount of unlocking ability. You will keep consumers on holidays and occasions with

regular alerts and freebies.

Key Platforms

We need to settle on the framework to build something on the mobile device. It's a very

pressing dilemma between Android, iOS, Blackberry, and Windows. The key preference is

mostly ignored by Blackberry, which Windows and maybe down to Android or iOS. It is

convenient to ignore using a hybrid model, but the development of a game for different devices

would include extra costs[ CITATION Pap19 \l 1033 ]. Your target market should be the

decisive consideration for your game. Concentrate on the OS to use and prioritize the most

profitable game. If one believes that your competition is distributed over many channels, choose

just more than one mobile operating system.

25

Do's and Don'ts

Companies use mobile device systems to boost their marketing and distribution

campaigns to increase user loyalty, from communication with their target customers to the

promotion and commercialization of their goods and services[ CITATION Car16 \l 1033 ]. A

smartphone app that is well built will offer a small company a chance to compete against bigger

players in the market.

The effective development of a smartphone app presents specific challenges, and the

rapid speed of technological progress will shift consumer preferences fast. However, updates to

the mobile app will cause problems for developers and consumers without a schedule or

consumer feedback.

Do's

Keep it Simple and Relevant

A smartphone application is designed to simplify the experience and render it much less

frictionally mobile[ CITATION Jon18 \l 1033 ]. When you engage in mobile marketing and

customer acquisition, the applications can only be downloaded by consumers if they are clear

and important. Recall that the typical consumer of mobile uses just 30 apps a month!

Drive Customer Value

Evaluate the latest app and see the value of consumers, extend certain features and

increase their value. Loyalty is difficult to push with just one application, but an interface will

provide a worthwhile touchpoint to make the client stick out. Stay based on customers, and

success can be seen.

26

Audit User Experience

If a company needs to boost the acceptance and success of mobile apps, a UX specialist

should be involved. Get an evaluation of the application completed. It enables them to identify

improvements in regions[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ]. Examples of this involve simple interface

flows, color schemes, and fonts, and button sizes adjustment. Both of them contribute to making

the product more attractive and consumer-friendly.

Improve App Store Discovery Chances

Boost the chances for exploration in an app store to hit the largest amount of users. Small

companies ought to examine who clients are and who their requirements are. The best

vocabulary they use, their special offer, and demographic information are helpful[ CITATION

Jon18 \l 1033 ]. Choose the right application name and a slot that describes rapidly and precisely

who you are and what you do first.

Create a Branded UI

Customers may not like the app since it doesn't correspond to your brand's experience.

Use the brand in the same language, tonality, colors, and emblem. Keep it up and date to remind

clients you think for, like the majority of the branding.

Don'ts

Don't Overdo Transitions

Do not make them so fast and sluggish, fluid, and fun. Get user's suggestions on the

intuition and micro experiences in these animations. Make sure that you don't get overboard the

interactivity of your app[ CITATION God11 \l 1033 ]. And do not ignore that any behavior

should have an instantly apparent counteraction in the mobile app. For, e.g., this involves a Back

or Cancel alternative.
27

Don't Put Too Much On a Screen

Usually, consider using 30 to 40 characters per side. Do not prioritize usability as a

designer or developer as a last priority. You should make the software available to people with

sound, visual and mobility problems.

Don't Give Users Too Many Choices

Maintain easy and minimal navigation, and make clear relationships between choices so

that users know what to do next time. Do not plan non-intuitive software. You need a clear sense

of ownership of your app through your customers.
