Objectives:
1. To continue bring out the learners’ leadership potential and in inculcating in their hearts
the passion for service with the appropriate guidance of their teachers and other school
personnel.
2. To recognize significant role and contributions of SSG in the schools and under the
Student Government Program (SPG).
PART II
NARRATIVE REPORT
1. Introduction/ Rationale
San Salvador High School is a school that offers complete basic education from JHS to
SHS, In Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2014, entitled “Constitution and By –Laws of
the Supreme Student Government and Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) promulgated
the guidelines in the organization and election of SSG. The election of the SSG aims to
continue bring out the learners’ leadership potential and in inculcating in their hearts the
passion for service with the appropriate guidance of their teachers and other school
personnel and to recognize significant role and contributions of SSG in the schools and
under the Student Government Program (SPG). Moreover, SSHS conducted the
synchronized SSG Election last October 1, 2021 and was joined by _____ (Ilan ang nag

voters thru ballot boxes disseminated to parents during Distribution and Retrieval of
Modules.
To effectively facilitate the SSG Election and orient the teachers on other relevant
practices this time of the pandemic, Mr. Richard A. Monta, SSG Adviser conducted a LAC
Session among SSHS Teachers and discussed the Interim Guidelines of SSG Election in
the New Normal. He oriented the teachers on the content and process of these Guidelines.
He highlighted that SSG Election can be done in two ways; Manual or Virtual. He also
discussed the SSG Appointment Guidelines that includes Nomination of Possible
Appointees by which the Class Adviser shall nominate possible appointee/s from his or her
class and accomplish and complete all the components and forms of the Appointment
Application Packet of the possible appointees. Then after, the Distribution and Retrieval of
Parental Consent, Submission of List of Appointees, Evaluation of AAP by the Selection
Committee, Announcement of Newly Appointed SPG/SSG Officers, Issuance of
Certificate of Appointment shall follow. Lastly, to make the newly appointed officers’
undertaking official, they shall obtain and accomplish the Oath Taking Form. This also
signifies their pledge for the organization.
In a world battling the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the situation can be frustrating and
calls for an action. San Salvador High School believes that one way to help learners in this
time of crisis is to help them embrace and nurture their leadership abilities. Their
leadership skills in much needed this time and doesn’t end during crisis. We believe that
student leaders can find their voice to help create a sense of hope, positivity, and
inspiration for others despite this situation brought to us by pandemic. Hence, this activity
is of great help among students to provide our learners the opportunity to exercise and
mature leadership skills they may not even realize they possess.
