do hereby solemnly declare that I shall abide by all the rules and regulations of the University and further solemnly
declare that:-
1. I shall not take part in any kind of strikes, meeting, social, political, cultural religious functions/events/gatherings
conducted/organized by anybody/group of students within the University Campus unless and until it has been explicitly
authorized by the University Authority. I shall not indulge at any hostel matter for another student.
2. I shall not display any party badges, pamphlets and other printed material anywhere in the University premises.
3. I shall not participate in any activity of any student Federation/Organization/Society.
4. I shall not allow unauthorized individual to reside in my room and I bear full responsibility for any misuse of my hostel
residence.
5. I shall not keep/posses any kind of daggers, sticks, arms or explosives or any lethal instruments in my room. I
understand that any violations of this rule will result in serious disciplinary proceedings and may lead to imposition of
heavy fines and expulsion from the Hostel.
6. I shall not allow the use of hostel accommodation for any purpose other than that prescribed and allowed by the
hostel management.
7. I shall not misbehave with any student or any member of the hostel management.
8. I shall be responsible for maintaining peace and tranquility of hostel environment.
9. I shall report any illegal activity in my room failing which I will bear collective responsibility with my roommates for any
such happenings in the room.
10 I will pay proportionate actual charges incurred on the electricity Suigas & generators.
11. If found guilty of any of the above charges or any charge not stated above, I understand that the university
administration has the right to cancel my hostel admission and expel me from hostel premises. I solemnly affirm that I
will abide by the decision of the university administration in letter and spirit.
12. I am well acquainted to the fact that, due to lack of space/accommodation in UET hostels the hostel facility will not
be provided to Self Finance and Ex-Final year students. So I am not enrolled on Self-Finance or Ex-Final basis. I
understand that any violations of the rule mentioned in Undergraduate Prospectus, 2020-21 on Page No. 72 will result in
serious disciplinary proceedings.
13. Cigarette smoking and use of any drugs in the hostel premises is strictly prohibited. Strict disciplinary action will be
taken including huge fine and cancellation of hostel seat.
14. I understand that there could be a serious threat to my health due to Covid-19 and I am willing to live in hostels of
the University at my own risk and cost.
15. I shall abide by all SoPs' regarding Covid-19 to protect not only myself but other fellow residents as well. In case of
violation, University is authorized to impose fine or cancel my admission to hostels.
