What did Paul Revere want people to believe
happened?
He wanted people to believe the redcoats had
fired upon a crowd of innocent civilians
What evidence do we have that Paul Revere
mislead people?
He did not include Crispus Attucks because
plantation owners would think the redcoats
were just to do what they did. He also
included a dog to make the colonist seem
more innocent and added people that weren’t
there.

What really happened?
A group of drunk colonist had harassed a
redcoat and after being hit over the head with
a bottle he fired into the crowd killing Crispus
Attucks
How did people interpret what happened from
the engraving?
When people saw the engraving they saw it as
redcoats firing into an innocent colonist
crowd

Did Paul Revere use fake news?
Yes, he used fake news
Looking back do you think the colonist
perspective of the events would have been
different if they had known the truth of what
happened?
Yes because they could have instead taken the
side of the redcoats and could have either
changed the output of the Revolution, stopped
the Revolution all together, or nothing could
have changed.

Why are you OK or not OK with what he did? What conclusion can you make about how
I am okay with what he did because it helped your feelings of these events and of Paul
create the country we have today Revere have changed either good or bad?
This has led me to doubt Paul Revere even
though what he did helped form the country
as it is, he still mislead people and not just
some random people but his people.
