1) New junction box is the same size as existing junction box (1000mm x
1000mm)
2) 2” conduit from new JB to 9712 (1/0 power cables and CPRI fibers)
3) Backhaul & GPS cables will be run in a 1.5” conduit from the existing 992X
cabinet to 9712 cabinet?
4) 2” Conduit from battery cabinet to 9712 cabinet
5) No new conduit (for fiber) required from the existing JB to the existing 992X
cabinet
6) New 2” conduit will be required from 992X cabinet to new Junction box for
CPRI fibers
7) AC input into 9712 will require a 60A Breaker with 2” conduit
8) No modifications (power or fiber) required for the existing junction box.
Summary of 9712 21U Benefit's
• All ‐48V DC power required to add mMIMO MAA’s and 2 Airscale BBU’s will be installed in 9712.
• 9712 is equipped with one factory installed 6.8KW Delta rectifier shelf and rectifiers.
• Alleviates existing supply chain issue with Apollo rectifiers that are deployed with top hat.
• Zero down time for FDD and CDMA in 992X cabinet
• Eliminates the top hat requirement and power upgrades for 992X cabinets
• Less complex cabling and conduit connectivity
• Number of conduit runs are reduced without top hat and AMOB’s
• Conduit can be fed through back, sides or bottom of plinth which save physical space at site
• Floor stand requires 6” of space on each side for conduits
• Future Growth
• 3rd ASMI BBU thermal testing planned
• 2nd Delta 6.8KW Delta rectifier shelf can be added to support additional ‐48V DC
• Stackable 13U 9712 can be added on top of 21U cabinet for an additional 13U of equipment for:
• Front Haul TLU hardware can be added to support Micro 5G RRH
• Additional BBU/equipment to support future spectrum bands

This letter is to confirm EBI’s structural analysis of the Sprint antenna mounting system and cabinet support system
at the above listed site for supporting the proposed Sprint equipment upgrade. The intent of this review is to
determine if the proposed installation of antennas, remote radio units, cabinets, and related equipment will exceed
the structural capacity of the existing structural supporting system.
Sprint is proposing the following scope of work (see CD’s for additional information and for items not structurally
significant to this analysis):
At the antenna level:
1. Remove (3) existing Clearwire antennas (1 per sector)
2. Remove (3) existing Clearwire RRHs (1 per sector)
3. Install (3) 800/1900 MHz Sprint antennas (1 per sector)
4. Install (3) 2500 MHz Sprint antennas (1 per sector)
5. Install (3) 1900 MHz Sprint RRHs at antennas (1 per sector)
6. Install (6) 800 MHz Sprint RRHs at antennas (1 per sector)
By engineering analysis and/or comparison, the existing mounting systems are deemed sufficient for
supporting the existing and proposed Sprint equipment listed herein.
Drawings, and/or existing structural reports. The contractor shall verify minimum sizes as contained herein
and notify EBI immediately in writing of any discrepancies.
2. This certification relies upon the condition that all structural members and connections have been properly
designed and constructed, and that the structures are in good condition.
3. Prior to installation of any equipment, the contractor shall inspect the condition of all supporting members
and connectors, report any observed existing construction discrepancies and defects to the engineer
immediately, and discontinue work until further notice.
Sincerely Yours,

Power and Conduit requirements
