Dear Suppliers,

Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) base code

APRIL Group companies, including APR and APY have voluntarily chosen to integrate the ETI code into
company culture and business practices.

The ETI is a code of practice covering clear and measurable standards related to wages, working
conditions and employment rights.

It is important for us is to communicate our commitments to implement, monitor and improve on all
aspects of the ETI Base Code.

The ETI Base Code underpins all our work and contains nine clauses which reflect the most relevant
conventions of the International Labor Organization with respect to labor practices.

1. Employment is freely chosen

2. Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected
3. Working conditions are safe and hygienic
4. Child labor shall not be used
5. Living wages are paid
6. Working hours are not excessive
7. No discrimination is practiced
8. Regular employment is provided
9. No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed.

We are committed to establishing long term relationships with our suppliers who share our business
values and approach to sustainable and responsible business.

It is therefore important for us to encourage all of our supplier to adopt and uphold the ETI Code in their
own businesses.
