Task 5:
Since few months ago it is being built a new residential complex close to Salitre wetland,
which has brought security and environmental problems. Air quality is reducing and the
quantity of robberies are growing. Citizens already do not feel safe and they are thinking to
move to other neighborhoods.
One way to change this situation is meeting with the Police for telling them to assign more
police officers to this sector. Another way to stop insecurity is hiring a new security
company more reliable. Furthermore, the best way to fight air low quality is talking with
local council member so that he can speak to the mayor and they give us a solution.
Task 6:
Resolving sudokus is a very fun hobby that require a lot of patience, because there are some
sudokus so difficult and that require to spend a lot of time for resolve them. I learned about
sudokus and how resolving because my sister liked them and she taught me some skills to
resolve them quickly.
If you are interested in solving sudokus, you could try by using logic analysis and start to
solve them in your mind. This is a good technique because it helps you imagine the sudoku
in your mind and you learn to think mathematically.
Task 7:
Didier Drogba is a former soccer player who played in France, England, Turkey and other
countries. He was born in Ivory Coast during the 1970s and he always was very poor, even
some time he said that he did not eat three times but until he moved to France.
He is famous in his country for his several social programs that seek to help Ivorian
children to leave poverty. In addition, he helped to stop the war that was in his country and
he did through one message televised after have qualified his country to Soccer World Cup.
Tito Drogba (as it is known in the soccer world) also is well-known because he has built
several hospitals in his country native and all years, he gives gifts to poor children.
Task 9:
Dear Daniel,
I apologize for not have gone to your birthday party. I forgot that my mother had asked me
if I could go with her to visit my grandmother. That was the reason that did not allow me to
go to your party.
I did not tell you because I felt a lot embarrassment with you, so I preferred to say nothing
and wait until Sunday for explain you. Nevertheless, this was not better decision because
you deserved one explication. I should have called you and explain you why I can not go. If
I had thought about that, we would not have argued and we would be friends yet.
