Lightly stuff hand, stuff arm as you go. Be careful not to overstuff arm,
later you will need to work the wire frame down the center of the arm
through the stuffing.
Cut and fasten off black, attach Brown yarn into back loop
Right Hand
Each round is the same as the left hand except round 5. Follow all
instructions as you did for the left hand but do round 5 as follows
Rnd 5 : 20sc, (1sc going through 2 sts from the thumb and a st from
the hand) x3, 1sc going through a st from the thumb and a st from
Rnd 1 : 11sc, 4sc in last ch sp, on other side of ch 10sc, inc (27)
Rnd 3 : sc, inc, 10sc, (inc) x8, 10sc, (sc, inc) x2 (45)
Rnd 4 : 2sc, inc, 10sc, (sc, inc) x3, 4sc, (sc, inc) x3, 10sc, (2sc, inc) x2
(54)
Attach Aran yarn into any available back loop in the back of leg (back loop
left after rnd 20 was done)
For the first leg (left leg), end rnd 55 with a sl st, cut and fasten off
For the second leg (right leg), continue rnd 55 until you have come to the
center of the inside of the leg. This is to shift the starting point. I did 18sc
extra. Do the number of sc you need to end in the correct place. After you
have ended rnd 55 in the correct place, ch 4.
Rnd 56 : sc into the left leg at the center of the inside of the leg, 28sc
(around left leg), 4sc (into ch sps), 29sc (around right leg), 4sc
Make the wire frame. Cut two sections of wire 23 inches each. Holding both
sections together, (measure 10 inches) bend in a 90 degree angle, (measure 3
inches) bend again. This forms the legs. Cut two sections 8 inches long. Holding
both sections together wrap about an inch around the center of the leg section
(where the crotch would be). This forms the body. Cut two sections 17 inches
long. This is the arm. Holding both sections center it at the top of the body and
using the body section fold about an inch around the arms. Wrap the entire
frame in tape to secure it.
Insert the wire frame into the legs. Carefully work the frame down the
center of the stuffing. Stuff the rest of the body as you go.
Tip : using the wooden dowel from the fiber fill, twist back and forth while
slowly pushing down all the way to the bottom. Remove the dowel leaving
a void in the stuffing to insert the wire frame into.
At the end of rnd 94, continue to sc until you are at the center of the back.
This is to shift the start point for the next rnd. I did 8sc extra. Do the
number of sc you need to end in the correct place. You will be connecting
the arms in rnd 95. When connecting the arms pay close attention to the
position of the arms. Before beginning rnd 95, put the arms on the wire
frame. Work the frame down the center of stuffing in each arm. Use the
same tip as with the legs.
Rnd 95 : 10sc, (sc into a st from the left arm and a st of the body) x4, 20sc,
(sc into a st from the right arm and a st from the body) x4, 10sc

Rnd 96 : 10sc, 14sc (around the left arm, leaving the 4 connecting sts

Cut and fasten off black yarn, attach Aran yarn in the back loop
End round 110 with a sl st, cut leaving a tail to sew on head
Return to the brown and with the brown, repeat rounds 97-100, doing
round 97 in the available front loops.
In the front, cut a slit in the brown yarn, use the super glue to secure the
edges of the cut and fold one side down, glueing it to the body, so that it
appears to be flopped over. After the glue dries, use black makeup over
the glue and cut section to make it appear dirty.
Return to the bottom of the shirt, attach Brown yarn at the back, in the
front loops that were available after you finished round
68 of the body.
Pants
Black yarn, 4mm hook. Gauge is 4sts per inch and 4 rounds per inch.
Work in continuous rounds, placing a st marker at the start of each round.
For the first pant leg (right), cut and fasten off. For the second pant leg
(left), connect it to the first one with 4sc that go through one st of each
pant leg.
Rnd 30 : 30hdc (around left pant leg), insert hook into the first connecting
sc and pull a loop through, insert hook into first hdc of right pant
leg and pull a loop through, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops
on hook (this is the first hdc of the right pant leg), 28hdc (around
right pant leg), insert hook into the last hdc of the right pant leg
and pull a loop through, insert hook into the last connecting sc
and pull a loop through, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on
the hook (this is the last hdc of the right pant leg) (60)

continuous rounds placing a st marker at the start of each round.
Ears (make 2)
Mask
White, black, and red yarn. 4mm hook, gauge isn’t important.
Work in rows. Make two extra bobbins of white yarn as well as the ball
you’re working from (3 total).
The next few rows will create the eye holes. You are going to remove your
hook just as you did with the brown on the body, for each of the next few
rows.
Tip : anytime you sl st twice and then ch 1, the first sc after that is done in
the same sp as the ch 1.
Row 16 : 8sc, ch 1, remove hook and leave this for next row, skip 3 sts,

side, 9sc across the top, 33sc down the side, sl st into the first sc of row
34.
With white yarn, evenly sl st around the eyes. Cut and fasten off
Using black and red yarn embroider the markings onto the mask. Use
photos as a guide.
Mask straps
At the end of row 42, don’t ch 1 and turn, instead cut leaving a tail to sew
to mask
At the end of row 27, don’t ch 1 and turn, instead cut leaving a tail long
enough to sew to mask
Sew the side to side strap to the mask at about row 13 to 15, and about
three rows in.
Sew the top strap to the center top of mask about three rows in and sew it
to the side to side strap in the center of the strap.
Now put the mask on the head lining up the nose of the mask and the
nose of the head. After you are satisfied with the placement of the mask,
use a pin to mark where the safety eye will go on the head. Also mark
where the ears should go.
Remove the mask and sew the eyes and ears onto the head.
The safety eye goes into the mr of the crochet eye. After the eye is sewn to
the head, remove the safety eye and place glue in the place it was in,
insert the safety eye, holding in place for a moment while the glue dries.
Put the mask back on, secure it in place by sewing it to the head along the
mask straps.
