This pattern is written with US crochet terms but I’ve included a conversion table
at the end.

Materials
Size 4.0 mm (G size) crochet hook
Long Tapestry Needle
Locking stitch marker (for counting rows, optional)
Pair of 24 mm blue safety eyes

Yarn
This pattern can be used with any weight yarn, just use the hook recommended
on the ball band
To get the size I’ve used for this pattern used an aran weight yarn, or worsted
weight, all the amounts mentioned are for these weight yarns.
For this I used:
25g each of dusty pink, red, green, white, yellow and blue aran
30g of orange aran and scraps of black and grey

The Pattern
Head
With the dusty pink yarn Ch6
Rnd 1: starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, 4sc along the chain, 3sc into the
next stitch, then 3sc down the other side of the chain, 2sc into the last stitch (12
sts)

Eyelids (make 2)
With the pink yarn ch7
Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook 6sc back along the chain
Turn your work and dec x 3
Fo, pin and stitch over the eyes

Nose
With the pink yarn ch4
Rnd 1: starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, 2sc along the chain, 3sc into the
next stitch, then 1sc down the other side of the chain, 2sc into the last stitch (8
sts)
Rnd 2: 8sc
Fo, stuff lightly and stitch to the face

Eyebrows (make 2)
Ch7
Fo, pin and stitch to the head (see picture for placement)
Now take some black yarn and give him a wicked smile! Use the red and dark
grey yarn to embroider some scars and stitches to his face

Hair (wig)
With the orange yarn Ch6
Rnd 1: starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, 4sc along the chain, 3sc into the
next stitch, then 3sc down the other side of the chain, 2sc into the last stitch (12
sts)
Rnd 2: inc, 3sc, inc in the next 3 stitches, 3sc, inc in the next 2 stitches (18 sts)
Rnd 3: (1sc, inc) 3sc (1sc, inc) x 3, 3sc (1sc, inc) x 2 (24 sts)
Rnd 4: (2sc, inc) 3sc (2sc, inc) x 3, 3sc (2sc, inc) x 2 (30 sts)

Fo, Now cut lengths of the orange yarn approx. 5/6 inches long and weave them
into the right side of the wig base
I’ve used a contrasting colour so you can see how to do it. I’ve put a length in
every 3-4 stitches all over the wig but you can add as many strands as you wish

Now pin and stitch to the head. He may need a wee haircut, so snip some off
until you’re happy with the way it looks
I’ve added a few extra strands at the hair line to make it look more natural and
his head is complete.

Body
With the blue yarn
Make 6sc into a magic circle
Rnd 1: inc in every stitch (12 sts)
Rnd 2: (1sc, inc) x 6 (18 sts)
Rnd 3: (2sc, inc) x 6 (24 sts)
Rnd 4: (3sc, inc) x 6 (30 sts)
Rnd 5: (4sc, inc) x 6 (36 sts)
Rnd 6-10: 36sc
Rnd 11: (4sc, dec) x 6 (30 sts)
Change to the red yarn and change colour every row from now on
Rnd 12: 15sc, 6sc BLO, 9sc (30 sts)
Rnd 13: (8sc, dec) x 3 (27 sts)
Rnd 14: 27sc
Rnd 15: (7sc, dec) x 3 (24 sts)
Rnd 16: 24sc

Now go back to Rnd 12 where you can now see the exposed loops, you will be
picking these up as stitches and working in rows
Re-join the blue yarn with a chain stitch and…

On the last stitch, ch15 and fo

Cross the straps over at the back and stitch in place
Pin and stitch the body to the head (see picture for placement)

Arms (make 2)
With the pink yarn

Rnd 2: 4sc, inc in the next 3 stitches, 3sc, inc in the next 3 stitches (19 sts)
Rnd 3: 6sc, inc in the next 3 stitches, 7sc, inc in the next 3 stitches (25 sts)

Rnd 5-6: 25sc
Rnd 7: 4sc, dec x 6, 9sc (19 sts)

Stuff the foot

Change to the blue yarn

Pop a little more stuffing in

Fo, leave a tail for stitching
Now go back to Rnd 13 where you can see the exposed loops, you will be
picking these up as stitches
Re-join the blue yarn with a chain stitch then
Rnd 1: (4sc, inc ) x 3 (15 sts)
Rnd 2-3: 15sc
Fo and weave in ends

Now go back to Rnd 4 of the foot where you can see the exposed loops, you will
be picking these up as stitches.
With the white yarn slst all around in the exposed loops, then embroider on some
laces for his sneakers
Stitch to the body (see picture for placement)

And you’re finished! You now have your very own Chucky tie back…..now just
switch the arms and legs to face the different way and you’ll have a pair!
