BE EEE 7th Semester Final Year Project list for 2021-2022

1. Identification of Power Theft using Micro Controller

Every year, the rate of power theft rises, posing a significant challenge to the electrical board. The
electrical board receives a total of 8% of revenue as a result of this. To address this issue, a
technology known as power theft identification has been developed. This project detects power
theft and reports it to the board through the power line.

2. Power Generation through Footstep

The footstep power generation system is to capture the typically wasted energy surrounding a
system and transforming it into electrical energy. The technique used in gaining the energy is via
piezoelectric materials.

3. High & Low Voltage Cut-off through Delay & Alarm

This circuit protects the costly equipment like TVs, air conditioners, Refrigerators, etc. from high
voltages as well as low voltages. However due to the abnormal AC supply, relays in voltage
stabilizer switches ON and OFF continuously.

4. Tracking System for Solar Panel

Solar tracking is a technology for orienting a solar collector, reflector, or photovoltaic panel
towards the sun. As the sun moves across the sky, a tracking device makes sure that the solar
collector automatically follows and maintains the optimum angle to receive the most of the solar
radiation.

5. A New Controller for Bi-Directional Wireless Power Transfer Systems

Abstract:
Wireless power transfer (WPT) is a promising technology for supplying power to various
applications with no physical contacts. Recently, bidirectional WPT (BD-WPT) systems are
gaining popularity for grid-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-grid applications which essentially require
power transfer in both directions. However, BD-WPT systems are complex in nature, and require
sophisticated control strategies to provide synchronization as well as to regulate the power flow
between two sides. This paper proposes a new controller that uses measured active power (P) and
reactive power (Q) at the resonant network of BD-WPT systems to regulate the power flow in
both directions while providing synchronization between two sides without a dedicated
communication interface for controlling power transfer. The controller, located on the pickup
side, is applicable to BD-WPT systems with either single or multiple loads and ensures that the
volt-ampere rating of the pickup converter is at lowest for battery charging, by keeping the
reactive power at the resonant tank intake by the load side minimum. Experimental results
obtained from a 1-kW prototype system show good agreement with simulated results, validating
that the proposed controller can be used to regulate the power flow in BD-WPT systems.

6. The Exact Solution of the Environmental/Economic Dispatch Problem

The exact analytical solution for the Environmental/Economic Dispatch (EED) optimization
problem is presented for the first time. The EED, which simultaneously satisfies multiple
contradictory criteria, is stated as a Multi objective Optimization Problem (MOP). Our paper has
improved several aspects of a previous analytical approach
