Topic 1 – Gig Economy Rewards “Whatever you may think of the gig economy, it looks like it’s here to
stay. Our survey, taken late last year, shows that gig workers (or the
contingent workforce) is growing, with 60 percent of respondents saying
they hired more gig workers last year compared with three years ago”

The gig economy employer market typically includes lower level


jobs that usually don’t require a degree qualification.

1. From a gig employee perspective, discuss, validate and


provide examples whether employers are taking advantage of
gig employees.
2. Suggest a Total Reward structure you feel will be more
equitable and attractive to Gig employees. Defend your TR
structure.
3. If you are the C&B Consultant proposing your TR structure to
the bosses like Food Panda and Grab Food, what would be
your key selling points to get them to buy into your proposal.
