A warm greetings to one and all present

here. I am Sudhiksha of grade 8. Today I

am going to present a book called KARI
THE ELEPHANT AND HARI THE JUNGLE
LAD. The first part of book is Kari the
elephant which consists of 10 chapters
and the second part Hari the Jungle Lad
consists of 8 chapters in it. The book was
written by Dhan Gopal Mukerji. He was
the first successful Indian man of
letters in the United States and won
a Newbery Medal in 1928. I got this book
in telegram. I just selected this book as I
had part of it in my school book. It took
about 25 days for me to complete this
book. It has 195 pages in it. It is a
paperback covered book. Its genre is
fiction. This book is about the author and
his pet elephant. They live in a forest
boundary village, where they face some
problems with the wild animals and also
about their trips to other places. I like
the conclusion of the book if u wish to
read it u could buy it and do know about
it! The characters are Kari, The author,
The author’s father, Hari and the wild
animals. I give 5 stars for this book out of
10 because I did not like reading this
book very much as it contained a lot of
incidents that sound boring and the
author have explained it very briefly so
that I had nothing to explore about the
book. I would recommend this book to
only those who like reading about
animals and others would definitely
don’t like this book. Some features that I
liked are somewhere there are pictures
that help to image the concept better.
Other than that I did not get any special
features from the book. This book does
not give any moral but it gives some
information about lives of people near
forests. The theme of this book is about
exploring the nature. Hope u got to
know something about this book.
