I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
1.1 INTRODUCTION

Over the last century, our desires have shifted dramatically, and our food
options have expanded and become more diverse. We can't help but want to try
out the unique dishes in other countries that are popular there. There is nothing
better than eating something that can satisfy our stomach's especially when the
dish come's from other countries. So, we as entrepreneurs, decided to give our
community here in Magalang the opportunity to try out the simple foods and drinks
that aren't native to the area and were invented in other countries!

Shawarma is a delicious dish that can be eaten whenever your stomach


grumbles. It originated in Turkey, where lamb, chicken, beef, or mixed meats are
stacked in a cone-like shape on a vertical rotisserie. It is ideal for any occasion
because it is a ready-to-eat food. You can eat it anywhere and at any time,
including while out and about with your friends or simply to satisfy your stomach.
Milk tea, on the other hand, was invented in Taiwan and is a beverage made
from milk and tea. However, one of the key ingredients to not make it appear simple
is to add different ingredients to give it its own distinct flavor.
Our business was launched to ensure that these unique and simple dishes and
beverages have a wide range of options. We offer various flavors of milk tea as
well as various types of shawarma. If this is the type of meal you prefer, ShawTea
has you covered!
We, fortunately, serves both of these delectable dishes and beverages.
Because as entrepreneurs, we want our customers to be happy, satisfied, and able
to loosen up while enjoying their food and beverages. Our food restaurant is

ShawTea is a newly-made business established by six entrepreneurs namely:

• RAPHAEL LUIS ESCALA and
• ZION PAMINTUAN.

Having our own business can provide us with a lot of experience, and it is also
beneficial to have experience so that we can learn how to run a business. And
managing the business that we have started is another way to gain more
experience and knowledge so that in the future, our lives can be stable with all the
support from our surroundings. It will become a successful business if we apply all
of this in order to be ready for the future.

Our vision is to satisfy every customer from their cravings and serve them
with mouth-watering food at an affordable price.

1.4 MISSION
Our mission is to establish a shawarma business that will allow a wide
variety of shawarmas and milk teas.

1.5 Logo (Explanation)


Our chosen logo and name were picked to be
simple and pleasant to hear. This logo represents the
two dishes bonding together to create something as
simple and as unique as possible. The title's logo is a
play on words combining shawarma and milk tea,
making the words easy to pronounce trendy and
catching customers' attention. The background is
artichoke green, which adds to the nature and colorful
element of the logo.

II. STAFF AND ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT


2.1 STAFF
An employee/staff in a restaurant is someone who has been hired by an
organization, and their role is to follow orders from the manager and complete
the work that has been assigned to them.

EMPLOYEES THEIR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Owner A business owner is the legal proprietor of a business. An individual or


group that possesses a company's assets and profits from them.

A manager is someone who is in charge of a specific aspect of a


Manager business or organization, such as supervising and managing a group
of people. They are in charge of keeping the business running
smoothly and correcting any problems that arise.

Barista A barista is a coffee artist who prepares, decorates, and serves coffee
or tea to customers using an espresso machine.

Chef A chef is a trained professional cook and craftsman who is skilled in all
aspects of food preparation, often concentrating on a specific cuisine.
The one who greets and serves food and beverages on customers.
Waiter Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks
presentable for guests and staying attentive to the needs of guests in
the dining area.

In some restaurant establishments, cashiers are in charge of


processing and receiving payments. Working the cash register

Dishwasher, also known as a Kitchen Helper, is in charge of cleaning

4.1 LOCATION
SHAWTEA's current location is in Angeles City, near a gasoline station and beside
a spa on a busy street with a lot of people passing by. Because of the busy street, the
area is very convenient, and it is just close in the center of city filled with different kinds
of individuals. Therefore, it is the perfect opportunity to do advertising strategies as well.
Not only is it located on that street, but only few businesses have started here in order to
attract a large number of customers and SHAWTEA is one of them.

Social media in advertising play a vital role in a business. It meets the purpose of
customers' expectations. Also, it cannot deny that it is the number one platform such as
— Facebook and Instagram in promoting a business. It presents an opportunity to reach
more consumers and target the right ones. Moreover, it creates more interest in the
people. Thus, it is a much more effective way to nurture leads and transform prospective
customers into loyal ones.

4.4 TARGET CUSTOMER


Our targeted consumer includes people of all ages. Our establishment serves
foods suitable for both children and adults, such as milk teas and shawarmas, so you
can select from a variety of options. Our milk teas are also available with an optional
sugar level. We also have cheesecakes, which are a popular dessert among both
children and adults.

Our potential competitors include The Cafe Somerset, 90's Tea and Milk Tea, and
Fusion Shawarma Cafe, as we both sell shawarma and milk tea. Others choose their milk
tea and shawarmas because of the low prices and because the businesses mentioned
have been in operation for a long time, which means they have a large number of
customers, some of whom may be loyal.
