you have to listen for clearly
articulated words,
appropriate pronunciation
and assimilation and
contractions. Also, take
note of the vocabulary of
the students if they are
using the specific
vocabulary you have
instructed them or if they
are using vocabulary
appropriate to the contexts
in which they are speaking.
These criteria,
pronunciation, and
vocabulary are all markers
of student’s overall
speaking abilities.
 There are several ways to
assess writing. You can
assess students writing
through the use of some
sort of rubric. Rubric states
standards for the grading.
You can also use checklist
or rating scales. In
assessing writing be sure to
know what you want
students to be able to do
 goals, and exploring topic.
The next one is that during
writing, students watch as
a proficient writer writes
and think aloud. I will teach
them how to reject ideas,
decide on what’s best for
the story, focus on useful
models, plan the text, and
prepare drafts and to edit

One of it, is through
perceptive reading
wherein the teacher is
trying to know if the student
can read or not. There is
also selective reading
assessment wherein it
involves looking into
readers’ ability to recognize
grammar, discourse
feature, etc. Interactive
reading is also way to
assess student’s reading
because it place even more
emphasis on top-down
processing. Lastly is
through extensive
reading, in this

be able to understand the
“big picture” and separate
the details from the main
ideas.
 Teachers can assess
student’s listening by
conducting an activities like
intensive listening tasks,
responsive listening tasks,
selective listening tasks
and extensive listening
tasks. After that, you can
