A heroic act is an extraordinary feat done during extraordinary times that inspired others. 
What qualities should we develop as Filipinos in order avoid animosities and rivalries
descriptive of the bad side of politics?

Being self-aware and prioritizing personal development. Focus on developing emotional

intelligence. When we work to refine this quality, we will be more adaptive, resilient, and
accepting of feedback from others. We will be effective listeners and open to change. We should
develop focusing on developing others and maintain a flexible mindset and be willing to try new
ideas. We should Focus on the future, and understand that change is occurring all around us, and
maintain a positive outlook. We should develop and practice effective cross-cultural
communication. And we should always remember that listening is just as critical to
communicating as talking. Always take the time to hear what others are saying.

Having integrity is one of the great qualities that we should develop. The core of
integrity is truthfulness. It requires that you always tell the truth, to all people, in every
situation. Truthfulness is the foundation quality of the trust that is necessary for the success
of everything. The good news is that each of these leadership attributes, characteristics, and
traits can be learned through practice and repetition.

We will avoid animosities and rivalries descriptive of the bad side of politics if we are
strong and decisive but also humble.
